Thomasville furniture has long been regarded for it's quality of workmanship which is why I selected them when refurnishing the home. However, their after sales service leaves much to be desired. First, only part of one order was delivered and a piece was so severely damaged that it had to be replaced. Only after re-visiting their store and venting my frustrations on the manager was the second order scheduled for delivery even though it had been sitting in their warehouse for more than a month and they had exacted full payment weeks previously. When this furniture was delivered there were a few small scratches which they told me their technician would repair. That was three months ago and even after repeated phone calls to just about everybody in the organization, nobody has bothered to contact me about these repairs. In these times of economic distress it would seem to me that keeping customers satisfied would be a higher priority.
