We were looking for cedar shingles for our walls to be done with the care and design of the past when craftsmanship was the rule. After researching for an extended period of time, we found Brent at Upper Canada Roofing. The end result was even better than we could have imagined.
Firstly, Brent is committed to doing things right. He also will take the time to notice if there are any other problems with your house - particularly when it comes to keeping the water out. He found a couple of issues left by some previous trades that would have caused us big problems down the road. We were able to fix them before they were an issue.
Most importantly Brent is a craftsman and an artist. This is so rare in today's world. He is able to take design ideas and add his own flair and attention to details.
If you want a quality job done, he is your man. If you want artistry and craftsmanship with cedar shingles on the wall or the roof, he is at the top of the industry. In the photos, the front has had two coats of Flood solid stain. The back has had only one. We will be applying a second coat to the back in the spring. Both look good depending on what you like.
