repair/polish/seal travertine tile

My tile runs from the front door through the kitchen and into the back hallway and powder room. There were several cracks in the kitchen area and the floor had not been resealed since it was first laid four years ago. I love the final look. The floor looks brand new again and the cracks (which are now repaired) although still visible appear more in keeping with the slight imperfections that are common in travertine tile.

Marble Restoration

Marble Clinic was the only one of 6 vendors whom I contacted that gave me a sensible approach to resolving our problem. They did an outstanding job of restoration. They were professional, courteous and provided excellent service. I recommend them as a vendor.

Kitchen & hall travertine restoration

Our travertine had become dull and pitted after 8 years of wear and we called the Marble clinic to restore the it to new. Narine & Reynaldo were punctual, very conscientious and courteous though out the 2 day process. They covered and protected the baseboards and kitchen cupboards. There were a lot of repairs to do and they filled pits, holes and patched grout. The final outcome was better than the day it put in. Thank you Marble Clinic

Marble restoration

We had shoe prints etched all over our marble floors in our bathrooms. The vanities and shower needed some much needed TLC after a decade of abuse by the previous owners. We also needed our main floors (Travertine) cleaned and sealed. The Marble Clinic was very professional, punctual and knowledgeable. They were bang on with their time estimate for the work required. They taped and protected walls with plastics which saved a lot of cleaning afterward. We loved our experience in dealing with the Marble Clinic, not only they did a fantastic job, they also followed up to make sure we were satisfied with the quality of the work performed. Their prices is on par with the other guys out there but the quality of the work and service you get with the Marble Clinic is outstanding. We highly recommend the Marble Clinic.

Restoring of travertine kitchen floor

This was the third time our new kitchen floor was refinished. There were problems with the original contractor, supplier and second refinisher. Marble Clinic rep came, assessed the situation and made recommendations and now the floor is beautiful. The workers arrived on time, work was done in a timely fashion and no mess. I highly recommend this company and have done so to my decorator and to friends. They are a 10 out of 10. I am now so happy with the kitchen floor.

Restoration of Marble/Travertine Surfaces

We had The Marble Clinic complete a restoration of the marble and travertine surfaces throughout our home. They were prompt and professional with their quote and communication was excellent from beginning to end. The chaps who came to do the work were polite and professional and left our home spotless. The marble surfaces in the kitchen had received a lot of wear (I would really never recommend marble for a kitchen) and the travertine tile and grout on the floor throughout was really dirty, we had no idea how it would turn out and I'm so happy to say it looks like new - really quite an amazing job!

Refinishing and sealing marble floors and counter tops

We contacted the Marble Clinic a few weeks ago and they responded very promptly and set up an appointment to have our floors and countertops refinished and sealed. The team that came were very professional and took great care while they worked. We are extremely satisfied and the customer service follow up was very good to the point that they are going to come back in and just do a very minor touch up that was missed. We would definitely hire this company again.

More about The Marble Clinic

As a family owned and operated business, The Marble Clinic has over 30 years experience in the field of natural stone protection and restoration - and with that experience our highly knowledgeable staff is able to provide the best outcome for your natural stone. Specializing in the fields of protection, restoration as well as maintenance. Each project has individual needs and The Marble Clinics team of experts work to produce top quality results.

We offer the following services:

Marble Cleaning: Remove dirt and dust stuck in the stone surface or in the grout lines – this will not remove scratches or etching alone.

Wax Stripping: The use of wax and topical coatings can damage natural stone over time, and causes yellowing after short periods of heavy traffic; The Marble Clinic can remove topical coatings from any natural stone to prepare it for proper restoration and sealing techniques.

Stone Grinding: This is the most common restoration technique and will remove deep scratches, lippage, etching, white stun marks and yellowing. It is also used to remove epoxy from chip and crack repairs.

Marble Polishing: Through mechanical polishing methods, natural stone acquires a high lustre and reflects natural light – it therefore does not need topical coatings or wax to achieve a desired shine.

Marble Honing: Will remove minor etching on low lustre stone surfaces, and give the surface a clean uniform finish without the polished look.

Finish Alteration: The Marble Clinic can change the appearance of a natural stones finish; from honed to polished, polished to honed, and everything in-between.

Countertop Seam-Polishing: Visible counter top seams can be filled with epoxy based resins, ground and polished or honed to match the stone colour and virtually disappear.

Chip and Crack Repair: Chips and cracks in any natural stone can be filled with coloured epoxy resin and refinished to match the surrounding material.

Grout Cleaning and Sealing: Over time grout accumulates dirt and becomes quite dirty. Grout can be cleaned and sealed to improve the floors beauty and facilitate easier maintenance cleaning.

Grout Colouring: An easy way to change the look and feel of a tile floor.

Stone Sealing: All natural stone should be professionally cleaned and sealed to increase the longevity of the material and repel dark staining solutions.

Colour Enhancing: Using enhancing impregnators on flamed or textured material is an excellent way to protect your stone and bring it back to life.

Table Repair: Our expert technicians can repair most tables, mantals, fireplace’s, statues or fountains – so long as it is a relatively clean break.

Stone Maintenance: Specially formulated compounds used on an annual or semi-annual basis keep any surface in high traffic areas looking good year round.
