Moved into the new Arc Condos on Erin MIlls in July and already having so many issues. We have water damage and black mold in my daughters room due to condensation and of course warranty doesn't cover it! We told them back in October when the water started and now its Feb with colder temperatures and damage to the walls and they wont do anything about it. They blame the humidifier in my daughters room that I've used maybe 3 times due to her being sick and was told according to their manual to open a window to help with condensation. Its the middle of winter and I have a baby, no I will not open a window! They also suggested to turn the fans on in the bathroom, both bathrooms are on the other side of the condo, and of course it did not work. What an awful suggestion. We even went out and bought a air purifier that cost us a couple hundreds of dollars to help with the condensation and no matter what we do or how much money we spend the condensation is still happening. We keep the temperature at night at 22 degrees and daytime at 20. This should not be happening. I've never lived in a home that had such poor air circulation and condensation to the point that water pools and drips to the floors causing so much damage to the walls and mold, black mold. Don't tell me that a small cool air humidifier did this to our new home.
Best part is the response that we had from Rose, the "Director of Customer Care". She responded to my husbands complaint by saying "as a gesture of goodwill, we will obtain a quotation to complete the work which will be done at YOUR COST"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a joke! You call this customer service!
Do yourself a favour and don't waste your money. We haven't even been living here for a year and already we have to do a small renovation to the walls and baseboards due to lack of air quality or poor installments of the windows.
