We received 3 bids. The Chimney Co was in the middle in price. But the way that they defined the scope of work was a lot more comprehensive and made us realize that they absolutely know what they're doing. They started the work exactly on the day they said and finished early. The workmanship is beautiful and there was no scope creep or additional costs. 100% happy.

I was forced to rebuild my chimney by my insurance company. Bill contacted the insurance company, assured them he was going to rebuild it, and issued the quote direct to them. This allowed me to continue to have regulare coverage, as they were about to cancel the house insurance. When he began the project, he had quoted me for a liner as well - he called from the roof and told me I did not need to replace it, and the price he quoted was lowered by the amount of the material he did not use. This speaks directly to his integrity, and honesty. I would recommend Bill to anyone who needs a chimney repair.

I was told that I neeeded a new chimney and was gathering estimates and lucky for me Bill was one of the ones I called. He came by to look at my chimney and told me it was still fine for a couple of more years. Bill could have easily told me otherwise but he was honest and that is a rare trait (especially in the trades). I wish he did other work as I would hire him in a heartbeat. He also took time to take a look at some other work I had planned on getting done and even though that is not what he does he kindly shared his thoughts and advised that I too could hold off on some of the other projects. Bill has integrety and if anyone needs their chimney fixed Bill is the person you want. Thanks Bill for coming by today It was a real pleasure meeting you. Another great job by The Chimney Company! Bill and his crew did a beautiful job of rebricking our home where we had re-routed vents as part of a renovation. I cannot even tell where they replaced the bricks. Seemless work and complete clean up after. The Chimney Company also replaced the brick course under our windows, which was collecting water. We now have attractive and functional masonry which looks like it was part of the original construction. We first used The Chimney Company years ago when we had to rebuild and cap our chimney. Their work is consistently superior, provided in a friendly and professional manner, and at a fair price. I cannot recommend them more highly. Thanks Bill!

My fireplace chimney was was rusted and split at the seam. After calling several contractors, was told they did not repair or replace metal chimneys. I finally found Bill on Homestars, and after he asked me a few questions he knew exactly what he was dealing with. Bill showed up on a Saturday morning, which was the only free day I had. I asked him what my legal options were going about taking off the chimney. He explained to me exactly what he could do, and after quoting me a price, which I found to be very fair, he proceeded to do the work. Bill finished, removing, sealing, capping the chimney and cleaning up in under an hour. I have to say that Bill is a thorough gentleman and a very honest and reliable tradesman. I would definitely and highly recommend Bill to anyone needing work done on their chimney.

My chimney had a large blockage, was missing tiles and had no rain cap so a racoon had got inside. Bill fixed everything and it looks like new; I can't believe the difference in the before and after pictures. He was a pleasure to deal with - it was just a small job so he fit me in around larger jobs but kept me posted as to when he would be able to do it (we kept being rained out). I would not hesitate to recommend him to others or to use him again.
