Not informed of excess hold on Visa
Movers were on time, polite and did a good job. Went to use my Visa afterwards and it got declined. I don't have a large credit limit as I don't use it often. Ends up they put a $1900 approval on my Visa without telling me. Estimate was between $1200 to $1400. They had no right to do this and did not seem to think they did anything wrong. I get it that people don't pay sometimes but you have to inform people what you are doing with their credit card! Frustrating response!!

Dear private user..Thank you for your recent business. Your comments are important to us. When a client books with us we ask for a Visa or MasterCard number to confirm service. At this time it is our job to inform this client that on the morning of the job Swan Moving will take a pre-authourization of the charge card given for the amount we think the job will be. Then at jobs end we will run the actual amount and cancel the pre-authourization. If we failed to inform you of this practice then we apologize.
