I bought my mattress paying more but thinking I was getting better service and a 60 day return policy. the delivery was scheduled and no one showed up the second delivery date was met but 4 hours late. they didnt wear bootties, were rude even though I was trying to be nice since it most likely wasn't their fault that they were overbooked. The mattress was dirty, sewn funny, and long threads hanging all over it. there wasnt even any tags on it. I didnt want to accept it but they said they had to leave it. I questioned if it was new. I remember when I was buying it that the salesperson was very stressful in if there was any dirt on it they wouldnt service it, but they expected me to sleep on one that was delivered dirt and from who knows where. they finally did replace it and this one was new in a package and with all the tags. it is an ok mattress but I paid way too much compared to what is out on the market elsewhere. I know better for next time.

They are great, They know there stuff and very easy to business with. I love that they take back your old bed and supply it to needy. It's a win win for everyone.

Reg helped my wife and I find a bed that comfortable and satisfactory to both of us.
He asked us various questions of our sleeping habits and recommeded beds to try and ones to avoid. He steered us away from the cheap beds and also the expensive adjustable pressure beds.
Reg's humour, product knowledge and patience with customers make him a good sales rep.

we, my fiance and I got a bed set from sleepcountry Danforth ave, toronto, in December 2006. We got the supposedly one the best brands, SERTA, because we were sure that the more expensive matress is equal better quality matresses...we were really wrong! In 2 years the matress looks like a potato bag, it is sagging during the night. As a normal person would do, we contacted the warranty( they say that is 10 years) which required us to take a bunch of pictures, fill up the online request and of course back and forth phone calls, to find out that they will NOT replace the matress because it is not a warranty issue. Remember that they expect you as a custmer to have a professinal digital camera e take the best pictures so they can see better. They would not even botter send a professional over to our place to check this ridiculus potato bag matress that they are selling on their stores as a high standards matress. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEN( SLEEPCOUNTRY) AND I WILL BAD MOUTH THEM FOREVER.

I purchased a $5k Sterns and Foster mattress from Sleep Country. After only 2-3 months of use the mattress was lumpy and so uncomfortable that my fiance and I were sleeping in the guest room. Sleep Country "tested" the bed and determined it was just fine. Want to know how they test the comfort of your mattress? With a stick...seriously I've documented it here:

After months of arguing with them I decided just to put this site up and warn others.

BTW - here's a fun quote from one of their customer service reps
"Sleep Country Canada does not warranty the comfort of your mattress."

We purchased a mattress which ended up being too firm for our likely. We were able to return it with no problems.
I would definitely recommend purchasing a matress here!

I bought a mattress 4 months ago and it caved really badly. I called them and went through process for several weeks and finally had the inspection guy to come. He said it's definitely a factory defect and mentioned nothing about any stain on my bed and any stain policy. We waited another 2 weeks to get our new bed delivered. When the delivery guy came, he just dropped a word saying that “he can't take the bed” because there is a stain. I can hardly notice any stain. The delivery guy just dialed the customer service number and left right away.

I asked the customer service guy that is there way that how they could prove that my bed has stain before or after the inspection or there is any standard for the stain. They just told me that they just take the delivery guys' word. It just sounded ridiculous to me that their company policy is so poor. The inspector guy looked at the bed inside out and took several pictures. The delivery guy just came in and took a peak for 5 sec and left. I asked them if they can send me the photos that the inspection guy took but they refused.

Now they told me that luckily the bed is covered in stain warrantee and it has to go through another process of cleaning and deliver. So hopefully I can have a "normal" bed delivered before my back pain gets worse.

One funny thing is that we also bought a ~$200 pillow recently from sleep country and it was supposed to be delivered with the replaced bed. When the delivery guy left, he even took the new pillow. Very poor customer service.

I purchased a mattress here, they had very good customer service, compared to other places. I went to the Brick for mattress.. worse customer service ever! sleep country is way better!

I really like the variety of the items offered in Sleep country. Although the price is not relatively cheap, the price is set at a reasonable range for its quality. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I will recommend it.

We had an amazing experience at Sleep Country Canada. Alex our sales person was extremly helpful. He wasnt pushy and allowed us time to talk together as a couple and come to a decision on which mattress was best for us. The prices cant be beat. The men who delivered our furniture were curteous and had no proble moving our old mattress down to the basement. A great place to do buisness.
