John Viola, of Sherwood Garage Doors, promised us that his technician will return, without cost to us, if anything needs adjustment wihtin 12 months. Well, it turns out that minor adjustments were needed but Mr. Viola refused to send someone unless we paid him again. He stated, without sending someone to inspect the door, that the problem must be with the manufactuer and therefore he's not responsible. This was his 'profesional' positon? How offensive and sad that Mr. Viola continues to take money from unsuspecting homeowners. Caveat Emptor.
The whole process was very good. They took down the old garage door and removed all the wood and scraps and did a great job with the installation of the new door and garage door opener. Very good products and clean install with no problems.
Dealing with Sherwood Garage Doors was a pleasure! Installers did their best to accommodate evening/weekend installation. The job was very professionally done from start to finish. They ensured that everything including the keyless pad was working and that I knew how to operate everything and what to do in case of power outages, etc.
They went above and beyond when it was discovered that the keys to the emergency release unit which I purchased from another retailer did not work. They were able to provide me with one within a few day, for a good price to boot! They didn't even charge me for having to make two trips!
