Selba Kitchens & Baths

We recently had a new kitchen put in by Selba Kitchens & Baths and we absolutely love it!! We are extremely happy with the quality and craftsmanship of our cabinets. We would like to thank Sue, our designer at Selba for her outstanding customer service. Sue was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She was always there answering all my questions and making sure everything ran smoothly and on time. It was a pleasure working with Sue. A special thanks to Azad, our installer, who was highly skilled, meticulous and made sure everything was perfect. You can tell that Azad takes great pride in his work. Azad was polite, friendly and always on time. It was a pleasure having him around. We have received so many compliments on our beautiful kitchen. Our overall experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend Selba to anyone who is considering kitchen cabinets.

First of all I have to say that my kitchen is beautiful. Catherine our designer and Dave the installer did an awesome job. Our issue is with Selba. We paid 38,000 for our kitchen cabinets; we paid half on order and half upon delivery. One month later we are STILL waiting for the dishwasher door and some trim. Our dishwasher can not be installed without the door. Do not give them the whole payment. There is no incentive for them to finish the job.

Selba Kitchens & Baths creates the most astounding kitchens and bathroom cabinets. This company did my entire house, and everyone says that my kitchen looks like a magazine cover. After their services, everything is amazing, especially their kitchen installer, Bogdan Jaszczur. He does absolutely amazing work, so pristine and beautiful. I highly recommend everybody to go to this company for their kitchen, you will not regret it.

We love our new Kitchen!! Paula at Selba was a joy to work with. She was very professional and easy to talk to. She listened to all our wants and needs. She also added her advice and expertise in trying to maximize our entire space. Selba's attention to detail shows in the cabinets, moulding and right down to the hardware. We couldn't be happier with the final product. Our installer, Bogdan, was very patient and meticulous with his work. He was always on time and made sure he cleaned up after himself. We were also impressed with Selba because whenever we had any issues they were quick to send back the installer to correct any problems that we had. We visited other kitchen renovators that were a little cheaper but we were happy that we paid a little more for the quality and service that we received from Selba. We definitely recommend Paula from Selba to make their dream kitchen a reality. Thank you Paula!!

Research more stores before choosing Selba. If you do and you still can't find a better price or style/color that you want, then we wouldn't steer you away, but definitely look around at other shops first. Originally we looked into an IKEA or Home Depot Kitchen, but our contractor recommended Selba. Our sales rep. was very friendly and helped design the best kitchen for our small space. She helped pick the right cabinetsto compliment our floors and it was a positive experience up to the point of delivery. After delivery, things went downhill. The installer who came in did a good job, but the hardware was incorrect, cabinets didn't close properly, some fillers were chipped, and other materials were missing. We called Selba constantly (aside: the receptionist is not very pleasant) to ask when an installer would be able to come and fix these problems, and days would pass before we would hear back. We ended up having to choose brand new hardware, since the original one we chose wasn't actually a product they carried, just a handle thay they happened to have in their showroom... It took three weeks for another installer to come and finish the work, he arrived almost 3 hours late, and the hardware still didn't fit everywhere so now we have to get knobs instead of handles for some drawers (still waiting for these - its been over a week now, for two knobs). In general the cabinets look fine and are ok for overall quality, but nothing special, would suggest looking around since they're probably similar to every other kitchen supplier and you can probably find someone with better after-sale support.

Selba resolved our requirement for some changes in a timely and polite fashion. They seem to care about their customers and work hard towards meeting their needs. The installed cabinets were a good asset to our bathroom/kitchen and I'm pleased with the final result.

Having design experience in landscaping I knew there had to be a much better layout for my awkward, dysfunctional kitchen. The width of the kitchen didn't allow for an island and the existing horseshoe shape was too cramped and not family friendly. After months of searching for someone to help me with my kitchen design problem I found Paula at Selba kitchens, and she created a beautiful as well as functional layout for my kitchen. Paula and everyone at Selba were punctual and professional throughout the whole job. The after sales service was as superb as the installation. Everyone at Selba went out of their way to make sure that I was happy and the job was complete.

It has been 2 years since Selba Industries has done our kitchen & we have had no complaints. When the kitchen was settling, we re-configured the area, they came a few times to tweek the cabinets which really weren`t part of the contract. The staff was professionally, creative, clean & honest. We would highly recommend them.

Horrible customer service and extremely poor quality cabinets

It was a huge mistake for us to use this company and we would never recommend Selba Industries Inc. to anyone ever.

We just renovated our kitchen and purchased cabinets from Selba for roughly $18,000.00. Worst transaction of our lives.

Here are some of the major problems we had with the Selba's sales team and their product.

1. Sales rep was almost impossible to get in touch with by us or our designer.

2. Installation times were set with installers not showing up at all without a phone call to let us know we did not have to hang around waiting.
When an email was sent to the sales rep asking where the installers were. No reply what so ever.

3. Poor quality paint job on many of the panels are embarrassing to say the least. We feel as if we should have gone with IKEA at this point. After reviewing IKEA's cabinetry it would have been the better choice and probably would have saved us a lot of money.

4. After asking for on onsite visit and the where a bouts of additional items purchased that never showed still no follow up by Selba Industries to attempt to correct any deficiencies and deliver what is owed to us.

At this point we have been flat out ripped off.

5. They are over aggressive when attempting to get paid to the point where you feel as if they are going to just take your money and run.

Which in our case is exactly what happened.

As much as we don't want to think about this company ever, we have to share our bad experience with the people who are considering Selba for their kitchen renovation.

Please do yourself a favour and do NOT choose Selba Industries Inc / Selba Kitchens & Baths. They absolutely ruined our Kitchen Reno experience.
