Sears

Arrived in relative good time, however the washer and dryer arrived damaged. They did replace the washer and dryer for new ones that were not damaged. I would use Sears again for home products.

The sales staff told me to market research on the internet to confirm the integrity of Sears products. They weren't intimidating. The led me to purchase the dryer and washer seperately instead of going with the combo. They were interested in saving me money instead of costing me more. They were giving sound advice. The guy was product knowledgeable. They created a very trusting relationship to their brand.

The staff is friendly and they are very accomadating. They provide us with lots of ideas and creative solutions. Good value for your money. The quality of the product is excellent and have had no breakdowns. I've had it for a month and it's great. Sears is open to when a consumer brings in their internet research!!

The sales rep was really pushy and aggressive. It made me feel uncomfortable. There was a mix-up with the delivery. The sales person gave us his card (BILL) and later after purchase was made he was nowhere to be found. I was constantly directed to new sales staff until I got a final resolution. Unfortunately it was not as quick and easy as promised.

service was excellent. the sales men went out of their way to accomodate me, especially since I bothered them 4 times before I made the purchase. Installation over 4 days went beautifully

The salesman was very helpful in helping me choose the model and was honest about the quality of the various models. Installation was done quickly (within a week) and the installer was on time and removed the old machine from the premises with no problem.

We purchased a fridge for our cottage and after 3 months of use it was turned off for the winter as the property was closed. Upon plugging it in the next summer it did not work and Sears would not fix or replace it because we had not purchased an extended warranty. Finally, a local repair person who we paid for told us it was in the sealed system and Sears did have to replace it. They did, grudgingly, having never mentioned this aspect of the original warranty. We spoke to an endless list of people with Sears to get satisfaction and will never purchase with them again.

The wrong stove was delivered. Deliveries for stove, frigdge, washer and drier were done on different days. Sub contractors for delivery and to solve minor problems with the good stove lied about calling and being told that the problem was solved after a complaint made that we did not want that particular person given his rudeness on the phone. I waited a whole day, called to confirm at 4pm and by 5 no one showed and no apology. We spent five full days of leave in order to get all pieces delivered. The wrong phone number was contacted, person to install washer/dryer was not aware that they were stackable even though we are in a condo. Had to rebook so that two servicemen would come instead of one.

Salesman was very friendly and knowlegable. Delivery was great. Made for an easy experience.
