After calling another company and finding no solution but the other company wanting over 6000 to do half a job.. I posted in homestars. Lester was the 1st to call and actually show up at the site immediately. He gave us a solution which would have cost about $2000..but eventually was solved as it was a city sewage issue. Lester and his team did a much more thorough investigation of our drainage system and explained what needed to be repaired now and what can wait. Found issues another company missed. Fair price for work and job completed quickly.

After 4 frustrating days of not being able to drain water from the sinks, bathtubs nor flush toilets, and dealing with many people from my home insurance company and plumbers, I was so relieved to have found the Rooter Group Inc, Etobicoke on HomeStars.

Lester Parris, owner of this franchise answered the phone, and he and his partner, Mirko came within 2 hours of my phone call. They were able to give me a thorough diagnose of the problem, and a very reasonable quote for the job. They brought in two crew members, Tadek and Slavik to begin work immediately. The problem was a massive tree root blocking the main drain. By evening on the same day, we were able to use the sinks, bathtubs and toilets.

Using a sophisticated camera, Lester and Mirko showed me the entire old ceramic drain pipe was clogged with tree roots, and needing replacement with CVP pipes. They understood that I had a tight budget, so they did not push me to do the next phase of the work. However, I valued and trusted their expertise and advice, and decided to continue the next phase of the work, which included the installation of a backwater valve, clean outs, and the replacement of a galvanized steel water pipe with copper (the City did not replaced, unbeknownst to me).

They informed me about the City's Basement Flooding Prevention Subsidy Program, whereby I can apply for a subsidy once a backwater valve and clean outs are installed, and passed the City's inspection. This was very helpful information.

They were professional, were on site every day and took pride in their work. They took care to organize the removal of the old pipes and ensured we had functioning faucets and toilets. The crew cleaned up everyday. At every phase of the work, Lester and/or Mirko would explain what was completed, and what the plans were for the following day. They ensured I was happy with the work and clean up before leaving each day.

I am very grateful for Lester, Mirko and the crew, Tadek and Slavik for their professionalism and quality work. I would highly recommend the Rooter Group Inc., Etobicoke branch for any plumbing/waterproofing.

The work done on our home by Rooter Group was professional, efficient, and conscientious. The workers were diligent, paid attention to the details and cared at all times about our comfort while they completed the various aspects of the job. They maintained a very clean site especially considering the nature of the task; were punctual and very respectful of their surroundings. A pleasure to have in our home. We were extremely pleased with the work completed and highly recommend their services.

The drain backed up in my basement and I needed help right away. Lester, Mirko, and their team from the Rooter Group came over promptly and took care of the issue. They installed a backwater valve on the main drain, and a battery backup sump pump from the weepers, window wells, waterproofing the areas where water was coming in. They went above and beyond, and I really appreciated the friendly, efficient service. I highly recommend the Rooter Group.

Contacted Lester who came out to correct the leaky trap connections for our bathroom sink. In addition to switching out the old trap, he cleaned (snaked) our the main drainage line. Lester was able to come out same evening, cleaned up everything and left us satisfied with his prompt attention to our concerns. Would recommend the man for any job you are considering. Professional, courteous and helpful individual.
