Rent A Son

I rented moving plastic moving boxes from this company. they were useful to have, and the people who delivered them and picked them up were courteous and nice.

I also attempted to book my move with this company, but then had to switch to a different company. I found the person I dealt with on the phone was very difficult for me to communicate with, and their procedure for booking the move was cumbersome and inconvenient. The move needs to be booked for an exact number of hours committed in advance, and it is not always possible to predict exactly how long a move will take. I was looking for convenience, and wasted a lot of time on the phone and email trying to arrange this move before giving up and switching to another, less expensive company.

However, I do think the actual employees who do the moves (based on my experience with the moving boxes) are good people.

We had to load a storage pod when we moved and when they arrived they knew exactly what to do. I was impressed with the efficiency. They were curtious, fast, and they all worked well together to get the job done right. Great company. Hussein was very knowledgeable and asked all the right questions to make sure we got what we needed. What pro's!!

I needed help to move heavy cartons as preparation for a major carpet installation. I had read about Rent-a-Son and called them. Dean and Isaac were prompt, hard-working and personable. After finishing moving the cartons, they asked if there was anything else they could do; they eagerly agreed to pack up three bookcases and performed well and quickly. We have two more days of moving cartons and furniture to finish this project, and I've requested the same two men because I'm so pleased with the job they did.

The gardener sent by Rent-a-Son worked hard and quickly all day. He had some knowledge of gardening. He was easy to have in my environment. I have asked that he return for another 8 hour day this Friday.

At one point it was questionable whether my stuff would fit in the 16' POD, the "sons" worked very hard to make it happen. I heard of Rent-A-son" by word of mouth and have already passed the word on to someone else. Excellent workers and company.

Dustin and his team took great care of me in my winter move. They didnt break anything and the movers he sent were polite ontime and respecful of our stuff....they were a bit slow but it was super cold and Dustin took care of my bill so that we were 100% satisfied.

We have used the sons many times and each time we have been fully satisfied with the quality of their work and their overall positive attitude. They work hard and are very accomodating.

I commend the company for their effective recruitment and training resulting in consisitent good service which starts with Patrick at the office and to each one of the Sons we have had the opportunity to deal with.

The subject line doesn't begin to describe the sheer volume of random stone, clay chips, and wood pieces that littered the back yard of a home I recently purchased.

My two rented "sons" had to make their way through the barriers of the Mississauga Marathon to my newlyh purchased Port Credit property (and that was not an easy task as I discovered myself in making a similar drive from my current home). The day could not have been more cool, wet, and dreary, start to finish. The rain never let up for a minute.

Nonetheless, these two guys worked tirelessly to clean up the yard, came and asked me whenever input was needed and then got straight back at it .... I am thoroughly impressed. The weather was truly miserable but in all ways these gentlemen were polite and non complaining and extremely helpful.

I would use this service again in a heartbeat and very likely will! Highly recommended .....

This is the 1st time I used Rent-A-Son.
I booked 2 'sons' for 4 hours for the clean-up of my mother's garden which included raking and bagging.
I had to leave them to work unsupervised and they did an excellent job.

The whole experience from beginning to end was professionally handled.
After sending an email inquiring about rates etc I promptly received a phone call and was able to get all the information I needed and was able to book the afternoon I wanted. The office even called to tell me one of the men would be slightly delayed.
What a relief being able to feel confident about a company. I will definitely use them again.
