Awesome service from Marci, part arrived very quickly. Ordered the part last Saturday and arrived here Tuesday a.m. Installed control board today & stove works like new again. Oven would not heat up to temperature and also the broiler has not worked for some time. Thanks Miles Cinnamon Lake Country B.C. My order no- with Reliable was 1780118
I had terrible experience with Mississauga Store. My wife order a part and before buying the part asked about the return policy and the store associate mentioned 30 days refund. She was told the part will be available next day.
We went back to cancel the order since we did not need it any more and was informed that there will be 20% restocking fee. We mentioned to them that we asked about refund policy before buying the part and it was never communicated to us. The guy who sold the part was there and as argument started, he just walked away.
The supervisor Jefferey accepted first to refund with 10% restocking which we did not accept. After long argument, he accepted to refund full amount.
As the other associate with rigging, he asked the reason for refund and I told him that they are expensive. The supervisor Jeffery stepped into our conversation and said that I li ed and the refund will be under 20% restocking fee. I got upset with supervisor for blaming about Lyin* g.
The store refused to refund and then pushed us to walk out of the store.
Totally rude staff and bluntly blaming supervisor. It look like they don't care about customer. Rude and blaming staff.
Needed a replacement part for a Samsung Fridge door (flap). Charged 139.95 yet the invoice in the box indicated 69.95. Claims this was a 'markup'. Are you kidding me, more than a 95% markup for a piece of plastic. Shop around and don't deal with these swindlers!
My company “Andy’s Appliance & Refrigeration” has been in the business of appliance repair and service in Vancouver, B.C. since 1993. I am qualified to write the review for “Reliable Parts - 122 W 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC.”. They have friendly service and quality parts that I purchase for my repairs.
I ordered a part over the phone and was told it would be shipped for same-day delivery. Since I didn't receive it that day, I called the following day and was told they don't offer same-day delivery and that the part was on backorder. I was placed on hold for a few minutes and a manager named Lindsay came on and listened to my story. She was awesome! Without having to ask for anything, she gave me a 20% discount and had the part delivered to my door an hour later. I ended up being VERY satisfied with the outcome but I'm a little hesitant to recommend them to a friend because it should have been a straight forward order with same-day delivery. I still don't know how it went so wrong, but I do appreciate them going out of their way to make it right. I will do business with them again when I need appliance parts.
They shipped to the wrong address, wich can happen when told by phone. Then they sent me a number to track the package. After that I tried to get the address where they sent the package, they kept answering with the tracking number, and then stop answering (3 times) even tough i kept asking for the adress. I ended up tracking the package by myself, finding the address where it was sent and retrieving the package with a lot of calls. It took me a few hours of my day instead of 15 minutes. Also got the feeling that customer service wasn't a priority. So frustrating.
Ordered a part from RA which took 13 weeks to deliver rather than the approx. 10 days shown on their site. Tried to cancel on multiple occasions because my daughter was moving out of the apartment where the appliance was located and realized it would not arrive on time but had no success. Now I am stuck with a $43 piece of plastic that I have no use for. Will never use them again and feel like I was had. Be very careful if you have to do a "Special Order" as your ability to return a product (even if they miss the approx. delivery date by more than 11 weeks) is non-existent even with plenty of warning in advance being given to them. Overall has been a very disappointing experience with their call centre as usually their local stores our much more responsive.
Update to above review - I received an email from their Head Office giving me permission to return the item for a credit. It never should have gotten to this point but at least some progress was made in the end.
Ordered different parts, only 2 pieces of the 6 parts are holding the order. The rest are sitting in Mississauga location. I called to pick it up so the entire order doesn't sit in the shelve for another three weeks. When I call the number for the Mississauga store , it reroute me to some one in Nova Scotia, I explained him that I want to pick up the parts myself from the location. He said that he doesn't have any access to my order. Then I called the same number and the call went to Ottawa when I explained the same he started yelling because I have asked him what is my option to get my parts instead of waiting for three more weeks in the shelve of the store. This is how he responded " I already told, you have to wait" then hanged up the phone in my ears. Not a professional customer service. The worst disrespectful customer service I ever had. I wouldn't expect this reaction from a decent citizen let alone from a customer rep of company out there to sell and profit. Any way I ended up calling again and spoke with some one which he didn't seem to understood my request . After I restated my request he started to raise his voice and got irritated. I am not sure what is going on with their customer service rep handling customers. They don't introduce their name, the only thing they say " Reliable Parts " that is it. I am shocked to know that this type of customer service existed. This is my first phone order with this company and it is a bad experience. I forgot to mention at one point in the conversation I have been told to reorder (pay another amount) in order the parts to be shipped separately. Ah I didn't ask for that I asked to pick it up my self. Bad customer service, I doubt how this business will survive with this type of customer service.
How many times in two years does one need to replace an agitator? How about 4 times. First time paid under 50 dollars. Less than a year later another 50 dollars (only because I lost my receipt). The third time (10 months later) replaced for free as under warranty (which I thought was 1 year and I guess true as it was replaced for free). Now another 8 months and the agitator dogs have gone again. This has been the issue all along, however this time the agitator was not in stock and had to go through their warranty department only to be told that the warranty is only 90 days and I am out of luck. If I were to purchase this online it states a 1 year warranty. I have since tried to fix it and still need to buy a new one. Poor quality from GE and Reliable Parts.
