Originally contacted for exterior painting Nestor repaired two trough problems that had been leaking at the corners. The repairs included installation of downspouts that other "experts" had ignored in favour of complete replacement. The workmanship was exceptional, completed on time and on budget.
The painting will take place when the weather improves.

From the moment I met Nestor, I knew I would hire him. He came over to see the job and with one quick glance of my home, knew EXACTLY what needed to be done. His rates were among the most reasonable I found and he was ready and willing to do touch ups and additional work at no additional charge. In a word, Nestor is an example of patient, competent, punctual, trustworthy and lovely and I hope that anyone who reads this review who needs a painter, will call him. Aside from that, his work was absolute perfection. From the cut lines, to the walls and trim, my house looks like a model home. His partner Juan worked incredibly efficiently and was willing to do any extra touch ups I needed, without any question or issue. And there was no mess. You would never know that a painter was in the house. I am thrilled with my home and will recommend Nestor and his team again and again.

Initially, I had found Nestor through the HomeStars website to repaint the exterior of the house. He came in to give a competitive estimate the very same day that I had contacted him.

Nestor and his team took care to remove door handles and knobs before putting on the primer and then two additional layers of paint. When he found that my gutters are rusted through, he showed the problem to me and gave me a quote to have the gutters replaced.

Whenever I had any questions or concerns, Nestor was quick to return my calls and solve the problems. You can tell that he enjoys his work and takes pride doing it.

After looking around for painters, I stumbled upon Homestars and found Premium Painting and Decor. I was impressed by the many positive reviews and called up Nestor Velez for a quote. Although his quote was on the high-end of 3 quotes I obtained, I was impressed by Nestor’s dedication to quality. Additionally, Nestor showed no hesitation in providing me with his WSIB info when I asked, because I was concerned that the job required high ladder work (3.5 storeys) plus a tree obstruction.

Nestor and his assistant Juan were very professional (proper prep, caulking and meticulous painting), polite and very respectful of my home. Nestor was great at communicating promptly on any issues, such as scheduling, and also provided status updates during the work. Due to wet weather delaying the start of the job, they even worked over the weekend to make up some time to try to stay to the original timeline. The job took slightly more time than expected only because Nestor wanted to ensure the Hardrock product on the exterior stairs had proper curing time.

Overall, we are very happy with Nestor’s work, and have no hesitation in recommending Nestor and Premium Painting and Decor to anyone looking for quality work.

We saw the reviews on Premium Painting and Decor on homestars so we decided to have an estimate done. The reviews almost sounded too good to be true. Well they were right on! In fact, I think he's even better than the reviews. At first I thought the price he quoted us was a little on the high end. Looking back now, I think we got an amazing deal!!

In this day and age it is rare to find someone with the level of integrity displayed by Nestor and his crew. For example, he was going to touch up the stain of the original wood trim in our 85 year old house. Since he felt that the touched up areas did not blend well, he re-stained everything! He was going to power wash and seal our deck, but he didn't think it would look good so he re-stained it. He didn't charge us extra, he did it because he has integrity and wouldn't leave a job if it didn't look right.

Within 9 days we received a conditional offer on the house. I'm sure that a big reason that the house showed so well was because of the good work done by Nestor and his crew.

I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Premium Painting & Decor, and most specifically Nestor, to anyone. When we buy our next house, Nestor has already agreed to come out and paint it, even though it's One-and-a-half hours out of the city! This guy is great!

We hired Nestor to paint our entire house, including walls, door and window frames, doors and flat ceilings. He also closed up a tv niche that we didn't want over our fireplace. The service we received was exceptional. Nestor and his team were professional,friendly, and very meticulous with their work. They always left the house clean each day. We couldn't be happier with the job they did. Hire them and you won't regret it!

We went with Nestor from Premium Painting even though his quote was higher than others. And we're glad we did as he was meticulous with the painting of the entire interior of our house. He was extremely professional, trustworthy and easy to work with. We highly recommend him.

We have a century old house in which repairs and refinishing are difficult. Nestor's work looks like new. He was punctual, fully equipped, aware of what was needed, and just did whatever was needed, on budget and on schedule. And the results look really good.
