We recently purchased a chest freezer from Pirie Appliances in St. Catharines on a Thursday night. We spoke with Jim who has been with the company for 43 yrs and he answered our questions very thoroughly. He was able to have our freezer delivered the next day. The deliverymen were polite, very careful in removing our old freezer and installing the new one. In checking many other sites for pricing, I found Pirie's pricing to be very fair, considering they do not charge for delivery and will remove the old appliance. I have on 3 other occasions bought 3 appliances - a stove, fridge & dryer - and all are working great. However, I always do a thorough research through Consumer Reports and other sources before making any large purchase. I would highly recommend Pirie's for purchasing household appliances.
