I won a "2 hour in home consultation" with Niche Decor. I mentioned my winning gift when I booked the consult. The designer arrived late with a white shirt on that needed laundering (large coffee stain). He was done after 1 hour & asked for payment! I mentioned my gift certificate which he wanted to see. I showed it & he changed his tune saying that did not actually mean "in home" like the certificate said but 1 hr in my home & 1 hr drafting ideas back at his store. Their loss because I have done over $200,000 in home renovations since. Did NOT put their best foot forward with my home!

Don't waste your time and money with this company. Very unprofessional! Material boards were never provided. Jean (the owner) only met with us a few times and each time he was not prepared. He would ask us to go to stores to pick out material and bring to him for advise. Anything he suggested through his sources was alway considerably more expensive( almost double ). After paying a $7000 fee he had the nerve to ask for more money so he could help us pick furniture from his store. Be a smart consumer always get 2 to 3 quotes. I wish I did.

had a very pleasant experience with looking for a new painting for our family room. This store offers a quiet comfortable atmosphere. it is non-intimidating and have up to date accessories with different styles of furnishings.

We had Niche Decor come in and re-design and renovate our kitchen. They were creative, on budget, and thorough with all the details we didn't think about. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in design/renovation jobs. An absolute pleasure to work with I look forward to working them on our next project.

Customer service is very important and it seems like there is no interest in ensuring customers are happy with their shopping experiene. I found Niche Decor on the web after looking for distributors of Memory Blocks by artist Sid Dickens. Not only did they have a great selection, I purchased some other lovely items for my home. The staff was really great, friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy yet tried to help me with my selections. What a breathe of fresh air in a largely sad state of affairs when it comes to customer service and retailers today. I highly recommend visiting this great little shop on Unionville Main Street.
