This was one of the smoothest experiences I've had working with a contractor. Rick called me within 15 minutes of me requesting a quote online. He came by 3 days later to take measurements and provided me with a quote for 3 rooms, baseboards (with optional shoe molding) and removable of the old floor from one of the rooms. He explained the quote in details and how the work would be done. There was no pressure. He told me to call him to let him know if we were interested. After dealing with Rick, I didn't bother calling others for quotes. He was in the range I was expecting. I called him the next day and I was able to schedule the job within a week; they were done in 3 days. Rick and his staff were professional, kept a clean work area and ensured that the place was tidy at the end of each working day. They showed up on time and were just very professional and respectful. As for the quality of work, it exceeded my expectations - they eliminated existing squeaks and did an amazing job leveling out the boards to make them flush where the hardwood meets the ceramic tiles.
