Master Deck And Contracting

Alec and his crew built a great fence for us. He showed up when he said he would (that alone sets him apart from many others), helped us with the design, was able to problem solve very quickly, he cleaned up the work area each day, and built a superb looking fence on budget and on time. He's also a really nice guy. Wow! I just wish I could clone him as my electrician, plumber, framer, floor installer, etc....Keep up the good work and many, many thanks.

Alec and his mate did a great job replacing my front porch with all pressure treated lumber. Very solid work, proper concrete foundation, straight lines, symmetrical. Used good material, fasteners, etc. Work was fast too. I would highly recommend them. Nice to see people take pride in their work these days.

Excellent workmanship, a clean work site and efficient use of October's dwindling daylight hours were all hallmarks of Alec and crew's rebuild of our garage top roof and deck. Complete with outdoor lighting and arbour we are delighted with the final result and highly recommend Master Deck.

Alec and his team just completed building our beautiful cedar deck. It was a pleasure working with Alec from planning through building. His estimate was spot on and they finished right on time. He and his great team are true professionals who clearly take pride in their work. They are meticulous and "do it right" the first time and the final product shows the care they take. Alec and his crew built a beautiful 1,850 sq ft deck which included a large screened "bug shelter". He followed the architectural plans and came in on budget. The most important point to note is that the use of Trex requires experience and knowledge, both of which were evident re. Alec. He always discussed any changes, problems with us before proceeding. The workmanship is excellent. The reason we picked Alec (form all the other Home Show participants) was because he was the only one who was at the show, and actually did the work! (The rest were salespeople, so one never got to meet the contractors.) Alec knows decks. The results are excellent.

Master Deck did a great job. We are totally delighted with our new deck and hot tub installation. We highly recommend Alec and his awesome team. They were a pleasure to work with and totally unlike most of our past repair and reno experiences!! They are pros!We would use them again for sure.

Found Master Deck at the Home Show and saw a picture of a house similar to ours in his portfolio. Between Alec, my partner and myself we designed a deck that is beautiful and very functional. Work was done ontime and in a very neat manner. All workers were very friendly as well. We were consistently consulted throughout the project regarding little details that made this project so successful and actually exceeded our expectations. All guests to our home have remarked how great a job he has done.
It was completed in July of 2004 but have only just recently found this site. Never had to call him back to fix anything.

We have used Alec for three outdoor projects and wouldn't consider using anyone else. We're very pleased with his service and his work. He is reliable and knowledgeable. You can tell him what you want to build and he'll build it just like that!
