Full of excuses when they actually do respond.

Edit to address more excuses below: we sent photos of scratches PRIOR to putting our furniture on. Since we got no response we assumed they were finished with our business and were not going to do anything. We decided to make use of our space while we still have time.
If you purchase make sure you are 1000% clear on what you are paying for and that everything is in writing because they hide behind terms that as a consumer we would not know meant anything other than what the sales rep claimed.
So disappointed in the quality of work. We had some concerns along the way and it was impossible to reach anyone by phone. We moved to email and the responses were slow and choppy (avoided or brushed off most of our concerns) they were great and quick to address us when it was about booking the job. The edging was not finished, but that was claimed as it faces a fence (2ft away) so it wont ve seen. There is a lot of unlevelled areas which they claimed is due to running away from the house but one day if rain has pools and puddles right where we could see very clearly just looking that it was unlevel. They also left all kinds of scrape marks in the concrete that are not part of the pattern. Wrote to them and never recieved any response...still waiting but as they required/recieved our full balance before they would finish we dont expect any..
I gave 2 stars because the patio was done in about 2-3 weeks from paying the deposit so, that's a plus I suppose. We will definitely be going with another company to complete our front next spring.

Approximate cost of services:
$9,000.00

Company Response

Hi Lia,
I am surprise with your review as I thought everything was good with our last email. Your concerns were all address. You did email me about the scratch marks and Hercules did go there the same day to have a look and he resealed the area. Your steps that you were saying were suppose to be the length of the sliding door was not mentioned on the contract and lets not forget the BBQ gas line that was in that area. Your gas line for your BBQ was under the one side of the sliding door, so the crew would not cover that. If the steps were to be the length then you would have had to move that line way before we got there. The forms were also up for a few days and you had plenty of time to let us know if you had any concerns with the forming. You would have seen the steps were smaller then you thought. I know you said you were sick and didn't look outside and that your husband only noticed once it was poured but how would we know that there was something you didn't like until it was poured. The only time you brought up your concerns regarding the steps was when we poured the concrete, and nothing could be done after it was all poured. As for the scratch marks they were not there even when it was finally sealed. You emailed me about it and I had Hercules go out to see what the issue was. He saw a few marks but it was not there before. It looks like maybe you dragged the furniture?? not really sure about that. Hercules applied more sealer to the area. You should know he was there because he moved your furniture so that he would seal it again. I am sorry that you are not happy about the steps not being the whole length of the sliding door, but that is not what was on the contract, and if it was suppose to be like that 1) it would have a measurement and 2) your BBQ gas line would of not be in the way of the steps to be added. I also think you would of looked outside to see what we had formed, and would have made sure it was to your liking before concrete was poured. We have pictures of the patio area and you have placed you BBQ right beside the steps we built and it's also attached to the line. The slope away from the house is for drainage and is necessary and that is the right way of pouring concrete. I'm not sure how we could of pleased you more. I'm sorry that you now feel we didn't do everything possible to make you happy with our workmanship. The patio looks great and I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer.
