We had a particularly tricky fireplace replacement due to location of the existing unit. Resolution required some creative problem solving. Alan came up with a few solutions and working collaboratively, we agreed on an installation which was overseen by Alan. When some other issues arose post-installation, Alan stood by his work and went out of his way to ensure we were satisfied. He was always available to take my calls, answered my emails, adjusted the job estimate when originally quoted work was not required in the end, made visits to the house and helped us out when we faced some jams.
