Lampert Renovations & Bath Liners

Over the years I can count on my one hand the number of times a company has promised and actually delivered on their commitments. The Lampert team is unique in that they exceeded my expectations from our initial consultation session through project completion. Not only did Lampert deliver the project on time and within budget, but differentiated themselves from others in terms of quality of workmanship, customer service, project management capabilities.
The size of the project was one where surprises were to be expected, the team of Igor and Gabby, kept us informed about the status of each step of the project, gave us a clear and concise action plan when the unexpected issue occurred (placement of pipes once the drywall came out, unforeseen electrical challenges..) and made useful recommendations based on their prior experience, which was comforting for my wife and I.
Alex always answered the phone when we called, or got back to us shortly afterwards, he was a good listener and supported his team, even making the trip with his father to give Igor a hand to move cabinets to the second floor location.
I want to thank the Lamperts, Igor and Gabby for making what could have been a stressful project to one where we enjoyed the daily progress of the build and looked forward to seeing them on a daily basis. We are thrilled with the end result, and would be happy to recommend Lampert!!

Encouraged by online reviews we engaged Lampert Renovations to redo our dated condo bathroom. Alex patiently guided us through the process and Junior expertly handled the renovation in the condo. Everything was delivered as promised, materials and workmanship were top notch. It was easy working with Lampert Renovations and I highly recommend them.

We recently had our main bathroom completely renovated by the team at Lampert Renovations led by Alex Lampert. We were extremely pleased with the result. Alex assisted with great design suggestions and Eugene and his team did a wonderful job. The quality of work was excellent. They were courteous, explained issues clearly and finished the job on team.

Update: Aug.9/21 - to no surprise, there has been no communication from them in regards to the Viola lamp where half of it has completely burned out. I am still within warranty and sent an email to them back in May. NO RESPONSE. I would NOT recommend them as they are very poor at communication. They take a long time to address issues and you need to hound them to get them to do what they are supposed to do. The business cannot be trusted to handle any issues if they arise.

Please note the job was done pre-pandemic 2019. Finally got around to gather my thoughts and notes in compiling a review now about Lampert Renovations.

We went to the showroom to look at and have our bathroom renovated as it had mold growth on the walls and ceilings. The bathroom required a complete gut and had to be redone. Andre was assigned to getting the renovation done. He was great and always on time for the job. Most of the work was done by him with only a few days where he did have an extra hand. Also to note, Lawrence only came in once to inspect to see how things were going during the entire renovation. I would have thought he would show more interest in the work being done by Andre and ensuring everything is going smoothly.

It did take a while before the renovation was started and done. We went ahead with the work order contract in July and work didn’t begin until September. The renovation was done in about 2 and a half weeks (well ahead of the estimated 3-4 week it would take). The job was adequate, though we did find some flaws in the work. The toilet roll holder did not sit flush as there was too much tension placed in the bar that made it pop upward. The seal around the back of the shower stall deteriorated a little and peeled a bit after some water was on it and we were wiping the area. We were also missing a corner shelf at the end of the renovation. We also inquired about the missing threshold gasket that was supposed to be installed as per manufacturer instructions.

We contacted Lawrence about some of the concerns and issues we had which he assured will be looked at. So far, the final corner shelf was installed, but the other issues mentioned beforehand were not addressed at that time. We were still waiting for the other issues to be addressed and resolved. Lawrence assured the issues will be looked at and order the missing parts.

However, during that time we experienced more issues since the renovation as well. Cracking around the entire base where the tiles meet the floor and trip lever at times will not reset. Contacted Lawrence about these new issues as well and it took a lot of time and effort to constantly chase them to fix them. They, of course, eventually did fix them, but it took a lot of time and effort to chase after them for any update and information. There was very poor communication coming from them as to what was happening.

Issues that have been expressed here were eventually resolved, but communication with Lampert Renovations has always been very slow and poor. The warranty package that was supposed to be sent to us in a week came in much later (months later). It has now been over a year and a few months since the renovation and now experiencing lighting issues as well as needing to find a way to get replacement parts for the side door gaskets as they have severely degraded over the time. I hope they improved their communication over the time with clients. Otherwise, it will be yet another disappointment from them (though not surprising from previous experience).

We had a particularly challenging layout, but the team at Lampert took the time to help us incorporate every design element we asked for. They were on time and under budget, and the quality of the work is top notch. They were friendly, accommodating, and kept us up to date every step of the way. I would not hesitate to use their services again or recommend them to anyone looking for a bathroom renovation specialist.

The two bathrooms in our bungalow were sorely in need of fixing; old, mouldy and leaking. Lampert Renovations completely transformed both spaces into beautiful, functional, family-friendly rooms that can last for years to come. The on-site team led by Eugene completed both projects back-to-back over the course of 4 weeks. We found everyone courteous, skillful and COVID-safe. Because we're not well versed in the details of construction and renovation, we so appreciated that we could be hands-off and trust the team to deliver high quality work; we're really pleased with the results, they're very good at what they do.

We are first-time home buyers and bought a house in East York that badly needed a bathroom reno before moving in. We contacted a number of places as we needed guidance on the process, not just a quote. Lawrence at Lampert Renovations was by far the nicest, most knowledgeable person we got in touch with - and we knew right away he was the right choice for us. As we embarked on our first reno project ever, we heard the horror stories of what it could be like from friends - plus we were on a tight timeline. Luckily, our experience was a dream. Working with Lawrence and his team was such a breeze - within a three hour session a their showroom, we had every single item picked out and our job was done. They started work on time and the crew was super tidy and nice - and tackled additional plumbing and flooring issues without a problem. They truly handled everything and made the process so smooth for us. Plus, their communication is top-notch - you can always get hold of them and they were great to deal with. We are thrilled with the end product and we'd highly recommend to anyone and will surely use them again for future projects.

The kitchen had to be totally renovated. Some issues were found in the electrical and lack of insulation in one wall. The contractors hired by Lampert sorted out the issues to our satisfaction, and we were able to discuss solutions with the contractors. The contractors were friendly, respectful, and cleaned the kitchen every day of all the building materials. The quality of the cabinets and countertop is great, and the installation was efficient. We're very happy with the results!

Overall, we are very pleased with our new kitchen and thank Lampert Renovations and their contractors for all the hard work and amazing finish.

We just finished our second bathroom reno with Lampert Renovations. From the design phase to completion, Lampert Renovations helped us to choose what was best for our needs and complete the job with professionalism and expertise. Our early '60s home original bathrooms needed renovating - a complete gut job for the main one and a refresh for the powder room. We looked at a couple of other companies before visiting "Lampert with a "p"". I was impressed with the way Lawrence Lampert guided us through the great number of choices for the various components of the renovation. The work was done professionally and on time. We are very pleased with the final product and would strongly recommend Lampert.
