Lampert Renovations & Bath Liners

While inspecting our attic to find the source of a leak during this last Spring thaw, I discovered that a bathroom vent installed in our roof by Lampert Plumbing had not been installed very neatly & there were signs of water seepage in the surrounding wood. One call to Lawrence Lampert & a roofing specialist was directed to repair the affected area at no charge to me. Considering that the reno took place a year or two before (really, how often do you look in your attic?), I can't thank Lampert Plumbing enough for standing behind their workmanship the way they did. They've done great work for us in the past, including 2 bathroom renovations, & I know I will count on them again in the future.

We had Lampert Plumbing quote on a tub to shower conversion in our mother's home, as she couldn't use the bathtub any longer. They responded quickly and efficiently. The installation took 2 days, as they had promised. They were clean, efficient and went above and beyond. At first, they thought the shower base would be delayed and they were willing to do a custom job at their own expense, which would have been more time consuming and costly. As it turned out, the base came in on time and everything worked out. They made a very old bathroom look brand new. The workmen, Alex and Todd, couldn't have been more helpful. We had an acrylic shower system installed in a small, challenging bathroom space. We appreciate the care and precision that everyone, including Lawrence and the workmen, Henry and Todd, took to ensure that everything was measured, built and installed correctly. Everyone demonstrated superior customer service, communication and specialized technical skills. The company's reputation is well deserved. It is refreshing to deal with a company that provides quality guaranteed work and a personal touch.

We had an ensuite renovation done by Lampert Renovations in January 2015. Our shower was leaking and the room looking tired and worn after 17 years of daily use. We chose Lampert Renovations because they are a family run company who have been in business for eighty years and the fact that they have a good rating on Homestars. We were able to pick out the tiles, tub, cabinet, taps and flooring at Lampert's showroom and which made for easy one stop shopping which we appreciated. We signed the contract the same day, and the total cost and payment dates were clearly outlined. The work crew arrived on the prearranged day and took twelve working days to complete the job. Lawrence, the owner, stopped in to check up on the job once during this time. We have done many renovations over the years and are aware that you can't do a renovation without some dust and disruption to your house while it is being done. Having said that, I have a couple of suggestions that the Lampert crew could do to make the whole procedure more pleasant for the homeowner. These are: 1. The workman should use plastic to cover the bed and furniture in the adjoining room, prior to starting any work. They only put plastic on the bed only after I requested it and they had already done day one of the demolition. 2. The workman should ask the homeowner where their equipment and supplies can be stored while the job is in progress At least part of their gear could have been stored in a room nearby which would have given us access to our closet for those two and a half weeks. Overall we are happy with the renovation. I would recommend Lampert Revovations to family and friends.

We chose Lampert to do a complete renovation of a 3rd floor main bathroom, featuring a tub to shower conversion, in our Summerhill Town House.
There had been no renewal done since the House was built in 1980.
We were pleased with the Lampert business model:
All of the essential installation work was well coordinated; tiling, plumbing, electrical and mirror installation etc. as well as provision of major bathroom fixtures and cabinetry sourced at the showroom.
The showroom at 119 Miranda Avenue had an extensive but nicely focused selection of products.
We were assisted by several home visits by Mr. Lampert as well as by a showroom consultant who had a background in design. We appreciated the Lampert process of referring us to the supplier of our choice to select accessories (towel racks etc.) and electrical fixtures (lighting etc.) We were ultimately able to select a great looking and functional combination of products and materials. The Lampert in house products blended seamlessly with our personal choice of accessories.
The pricing of the project seemed very competitive.
Most importantly, the installation was done promptly and completed right on time by expert experienced workers.
As the project proceeded there was a good dialogue when various details needed to be addressed.
In all the project was smoothly completely and the results were excellent.
We are also reassured by the long history of the company and their 4 year warranty.

In October Lampert plumbing converted my tub/shower to a walk-in shower and installed a new sink and vanity. The company has a lovely showroom with displays that helped me to to choose materials and to get a good idea of what the finished job would look like. Lawrence Lampert himself was there to give me helpful advice. Once the contract was signed, all of the work proceeded on time and on budget. Lawrence and his staff kept me "in the loop" at all stages of the project. The men who did the work were very courteous and very professional. Their skills were excellent and I was impressed with the way they had good solutions for the kind of challenges that always come up when working in an older building. I had great confidence in their workmanship and I remain delighted with the beautiful bathroom they created for me. When the job was completed Tod invited me to get in touch if there was anything that needed further attention. There was a very minor problem, but Tod showed up the day after I called him and fixed it. That's what I would call great customer service!

We recently returned to Lampert to completely renovate another bathroom of ours after living through such a great experience renovating a previous bathroom. Lawrence makes choosing all the tiles, taps, everything from start to finish SO easy in his showroom, it's literally one stop shopping. He is extremely knowledgeable in every detail whether it be showers or tubs, tiles etc , I went with an open mind, knowing I could trust his better judgement. He gave us the greatest advice for remodelling our shower and I thank him sincerely.

As previously, his crew arrived in a timely manner each and every day, our home was always kept clean, and the price for such a large renovation was very reasonable. I am impressed that Lawrence is always on top of everything that goes on with each step of the renovation, and that things progress smoothly and on time. There were never any unwelcome surprises with this renovation or my previous job with Lampert. The job was finished not only beautifully, but properly. It's a comforting feeling to know you can hire this contractor who will do the job right the first time, and do it well.

Lawrence sat down at the end and explained all warranties, all cleaning information to me for the products that were used, he totally takes care of you from start to finish.

Thank you Lawrence and staff for all your help in such a beautiful transformation to our home. When we are ready to renovate our kitchen, we no doubt will be calling Lambert again.

Lampert is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with. They are very professional, easy to work with and priced fairly. They have a great showroom where you can pick everything in one place and they take care of the rest.
