Getting our fence installed through Home Depot was a cost effective option. We hooked up a deal that got us credit at Home Depot and delayed payment for 6 months. Since the contractor is accountable to Home Depot he delivered on a level that we were very happy with.

I ordered a washer from my local Home Depot. Delivery was on schedule, as promised, but when the appliance arrived and removed from its crate, it was damaged. The delivery company promptly took the machine back, but was not able to deliver a new one for a few days. After speaking with Home Depot Ajax, they kindly offered me a new "loaner" washer until mine was delivered. The "loaner" was delivered to me within an hour. I appreciate the prompt customer service.

Home Depot had a huge toilet sale a month ago. They were sold out when we got there. The manager of the store took down our information on file and stated that we were guaranteed two toilets when they came in (at the sale price). After calling in once a week for a couple of months (and being told that the toilets would be there the next week) finally someone told us that they were not going to be able to honour their promise. We were given the ring around for weeks until someone finally gave us the bad news.

When our son lost his wallet, which contained the key to the house as well, I happened to be driving by a Home Depot in Ajax, ON.

I went in with the idea of purchasing 3 deadbolt locks to replace the front door, garage side door and through door from garage into house, as the lost key opened all 3 of those locks.

The associate I found in the door lock area was soo helpful, he suggested I only needed to change the mechanism inside the lock, not the entire lock itself.

I changed the 3 mechanisms for roughly $15.00 plus the cost of making copies of keys for the entire family.

I went into the store believing I was going to plunk down at least $100 for new locks and came out only a few dollars poorer and with knowledge for future lock changes.

We were not sure how to go about selecting paint and painting items for our new home. This is a first time home for us both so we have never had to make any renovations to anything. We were unsure about how to select paint brands and materials. The woman at Home Depot was extremely helpful in telling us techniques on how to fix the walls, decide on paint finish, compare brands of paint and select different types of rollers. It helped tremendously in buying our supplies.

Jakuzzi tub was not the one I selected no demo or instructions were provided not was a manual on how to operate jakuzzi.
Since sub contractor did not have to install or provide cabinetory, the renovations were over priced. After job was completed, and further investigation done, is when we realized we had be over chared.

We purchased 6 blinds for our house and was very pleased with the service we received there. This one lady was so friendly and helpful. The blinds look amazing and we sure will be coming back to this home depot for future projects.

Installing a gas line for Gas stove in a new house in Ajax.
Went to the Home Depot on Kingston road (just east of Salem and Kingston Road), needed to get some pipes and valves for installing a line in the house to run to the Stove. The plumbing dept (where the gas pipes and equipment is located), the staff were excellent, the store was busy they made sure that we had the products that we needed. Also went out of their way to cut some lengths of pipe for us, great service, they also threaded the ends of the pipe that we needed and they made sure we had enough elbows for our project. They took to take care of us although the store was extremely busy that day (at least the plumbing section was).

There is a great new location for Home Depot in Ajax. It was phenomenally large and had a huge selection in products. The window coverings/inserts I have been looking for weeks at other home depots across Ontario was available in quantity at this store.

As usual our buying experience at Home Depot is always rewarding.
