Hoerner Heating & Plumbing

I called Hoerner’s Heating and Plumbing and spoke with Kim because my water heater was leaking. Within an hour their gas technician Nicolas was at my house. He quickly replaced the temperature and pressure relief valve. Nicholas was courteous and competent. He explained everything about the repair, and he followed all COVID safety measures. Highly recommended!

Took a bit re-re-scheduling (my fault). The work was careful and well done. The Hoerner office staff is patient and on top of the job. Happily the furnace passed the carbo monoxide test with flying colours.

I am very pleased with the new system. I was told it would take 3 days, but it only took 2! The installers were wonderful, they take care going in and out of the house. They wear masks, and covers on their boots. They carefully tested the system after they finished the install and explained how to operate It. We feel quite comfortable recommending Hoerner, they also did a great job on a water heater system for us.

My toilet suddenly stopped flushing the stuff down the drain and the bowl got filled up with a brownish muck. A friend recommended Hoerner and we called them. they came an hour later, on a Saturday. The workman, STeven, was polite and competent. The toilet was fixed but also diagnosed. And the larger picture is that the one piece toilet I have is no longer being marketed as there have been lots of complaints about it. It builds up mineral deposits.

Old toilet broke past the point where we could do a small repair ourselves. Hoerner arrived quickly, as always, and quoted repair cost vs replacement cost. I'm so glad we chose to replace it! The job was done much faster than expected, and the installation was neat. We've used Hoerner for Heating and Plumbing for 20 years and are always satisfied.

I was very impressed with their communication, setup, speed, and the quality of their technicians.

The initial visit to assess our space was worth the service call fee, as
we had a weird basement in-floor heating setup that the previous owners stuck onto the existing water heater (supposed to have a different kind of tank or a separate one). Nicholas laid out all of our options and patiently answered all my questions. I did not feel like there was any pressure to go with the most expensive route.

The appointment process was quick and smooth (within a week). They came at 9 am to remove the old rented Enercare tank and installed the new one, cleaned up and were out by 3 p.m.

They seem to genuinely care about the quality of their own work and I would definitely call them again for plumbing, AC, HVAC or other-related work.

This is absolutely the best company in Toronto for Heating and Plumbing. The amazing Claire arrived exactly on time, in a mask, ready to do the yearly maintenance on our Viessmann boiler. She was organized, methodical and thorough - another wonderful service call from Hoerner! Every interaction with the team at Hoerner is positive, pleasant and reassuring. Truly - the best.

Very early Monday I emailed a request, around 9am Tracey called me and by 3pm two plumbers were at my door. Safely wearing all the required PPE that I had asked for.

They worked rapidly, in silence and left the place immaculate.
Did an excellent job!
Right away I felt my kitchen pipes and leak were in good hands.
Stephen said that he was born to be a plumber.
Cannot get more reassuring than that.

I needed a new hot water heater and the team came and provided me one, as well as installed new pipes for venting as the old ones were not to code. I have to say the demeanour of the staff was very professional and I could hear Clare teaching Another staff member as she went. She was patient and also got my work done. Kudos to the team
