The old saying, “you get what you pay for”, is true. I had a great experience and received a deck, pergola and fence beyond my expectations from Hickory Dickory Decks.

Geoff maintained regular contact from start to finish. I had more than several consultations with Geoff in which the deck, pergola and fence went through several versions. Each time he understood what I wanted and provided renderings of each version along with rough estimates of cost. Once the final version was decided on he provided numerous samples of possible materials and offered some very helpful and knowledgeable suggestions throughout the entire process.
Other companies I had quote on the job offered no choice of materials or helpful suggestions.
Geoff, Kosal and his crew delivered exactly what I envisioned. They could understand my sometimes vague descriptions and translate them into reality. A huge plus is that once the build started, they continued to work on the job until completion unlike the horror stories you hear about other companies starting a build and then abandoning the customer for weeks, months or more. Whenever I contacted Geoff I always received a prompt response, sometimes within a few hours and always by the next day.
The Kosal, and the crew were fantastic. They worked hard and were always polite and pleasant, neat and tidy with a clean up every night before going home. There skill, craftsmanship, expertise, and attention to detail was amazing. Unlike other so called experts who cut corners and use inferior materials and don't seem to care how they get the job done.
You will not be disappointed using this company.
In fact I had such a great experience I had Geoff and the crew come back to replace my front porch. this past spring.

Our new deck is composite with aluminum rails and a cedar privacy screen. Bob Robertson from Mississauga NW was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and a straight shooter right from the quotation phase through to the end of the project. It was very helpful to visit the Hickory Dickory showroom where decking materials are shown outdoors in the sun and rain, so we could see them as they would look installed. Fred and Art built our deck. They were diligent, hard workers who obviously had pride in workmanship. They did a fantastic job and were really nice guys, to boot. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

You must hire Hickory Dickory Decks! Our fence install was a very positive experience. Ibrahim spent time listening to my needs for the fence (i.e. kids and dog) and together we discussed design options and aesthetic; he gave me a quote onsite. He spent 3 part days building the cedar fence in November (in the snow too!). What he crafted was perfect and exactly what I had in mind. Our neighbours have commented on how attractive it is, which is a testament to his work. Ibrahim was a pleasure to work with. He is knowledgeable, respectful, skilled and mindful of your property. I would hire him again for future wood projects.

We had a fabulous experience from start to finish with Arturo and his team of workers !!!! The quality of crafstmanship is outstanding and the design is beautiful ! They started our Deck on the projected start date and showed up on time everyday and worked nonstop all day ! Arturo and his workers, Brian and Martin were a pleasure to deal with ! I would recommend them 100% . Thank you Arturo, Brian and Martin for our beautiful new composite deck !!!!

Jeremy and Chris were amazing! They are both very professional, dedicated and hard working. There were a couple of days I was actually surprised they were here due to the weather. Jeremy made sure we touched base with each other every day to ensure we were happy with the progress. At the end of every day he always asked if I had any questions. Before leaving for the day they made sure everything was cleaned up and never left a mess (I have heard that some contractors don't clean up after themselves). I really appreciated Jeremy's input throughout the project. He brought up ideas and suggestions we would never have thought of that improved on what we had originally designed - the step leading onto the patio running the length of the deck makes it so much easier for people transitioning from the dining area to the stone patio, the eavestrough on the pavilion. If we weren't sure what decision to make, Jeremy was great; giving us the pros and cons and walking us through to make sure we made the decision that was best for us. Chris was here early every single morning and sometimes didn't leave until it started getting dark.

The quality, timing and workmanship throughout the complete project was very impressive. From our first visit with you to go over planning and design to the finished project, everything happened on schedule and as planned. You and your team walked us through and held our hand from start to finish. Being first timers at this we were expecting some hiccups, delays and surprises; the surprise we got was that there weren't any. We couldn't have picked a better company to make our backyard dreams come true.

We asked for maintenance free, something that would last, and wanted the best backyard on the street - you delivered! Having seen the quality and workmanship that was put into the project, I know we will be enjoying our deck for many, many, many years to come.

We had a few (what started out as 4 and turned out to be 17) people over to open our new backyard and received nothing but the best of compliments. I think WOW was the first word from everyone! Apparently our neighbours are going to spend every summer in our backyard - maybe you did too good a job!

The construction was performed by a great team ( Fred and Art ) who worked diligently to give me a beautiful deck.
