Handyman Matters

We moved into a 24 year old home that didn't have fans in the bathrooms, we hired handyman matters to install new fans, they came on time, installed the fans in one afternoon, and they work great!

Prior to putting a century home on the market various repairs had to be done. They included plumbing, electrical, carpentry, masonry and some painting. All the jobs were done efficiently and neatly. All the workers were very pleasant to have around. The estimate was reasonable and accurate. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This is the best contractor service I have ever used. I had major renovations in my loft, and this company responed within a time frame that no other contractor could meet. Thank you again!!!!!!!!! My granite install looks FANTASTIC!!!!!!:) I will only use Handyman Matters for all future projects. Bruce and Alex did a fanastic Job!

I have had a history of unfortunate experiences with handymen or renovators. Handyman Matters was truly a pleasant and refreshing experience. All my jobs got done correctly and professionally with courteous and professional service. There were no delays here. The estimates were accurate and suggestions were offered to make the finished job even more rewarding. If I need more work to be done I will know where to turn. Handyman Matters restored the walls and part of the flooring in my basement that had been removed by another company as part of a waterproofing project, and also made some minor improvements to plumbing fixtures in the laundry area. I found the team handling the work to be competent and professional, and was pleased with the result. They hit the triple crown of home renovation - they did what they said they were going to do, when they said they were going to do it, for the amount they said they were going to do it for.

At the same time, they also diagnosed and fixed a plumbing issue that had been causing an occasional leak in my dining room ceiling, and had been a mystery for some time. They completed this job with a minimum of demolition, and took care to preserve detail work on the ceiling.

Special thanks to Carrie in the office for making it so pleasant to deal with the company, including help with scheduling and invoicing questions. This is my first home and I am a home repair novice - I am happy to have found on the first try a company that I would use again and recommend to others.

Handyman Matters quoted a reasonable price to tear down and re-install the shower in our condominium apartment. They did the job as they said they would, completed on time with no surprises. The workers were efficient, personable, and kept us fully informed about the work progress. They were very good about minimizing the dirt and noise levels in the apartment. The finished shower stall is really good-looking and I'd recommend this company to anyone.

I contacted Jim to get a quote and time line to complete my renovation. He was prompt, professional an explained completely what was included in his quote. He explained the options I had and what I could expect from other companies how would quote. He was not the losest but the most realistic in quoting. His company did a great job.

I've had several jobs done by Jim and his team at Handyman Matters. They are FANTASTIC. Good price, good quality, on time, keeps the job site clean, personable staff etc. I recommend them frequently and will keep doing so.
