A few years ago Halls Heat and Cool replaced an older central air conditioning unit in our house. We had done two renovations to the house with a second story addition, and a second smaller furnace was installed in the upper level. Without consulting us the homeowners they attached the air conditioner to the smaller furnace on the second floor, instead of attaching it to the original furnace in the basement and now only part of the house is air conditioned. When I complained to the company I was told by the receptionist (no one else would speak to me), that they could put a second unit in beside the first one, but of course that would be at my cost.
