Overall, a bad experience. There was an immense amount of communication towards me but none between people at the company: the foreman at my house and the project manager and the service rep didn't talk to each other at all. I had to explain some things three times to make sure everyone was on the same page.
The original quote didn't include all the work. The first site visit from the manager added $7k of work. He insisted he did not need to look at the roof from inside. Then after two days of work my roof still leaked from a spot they already roofed over. After showing it to him from the inside he was able to identify and rectify the problem.
There was drywall damage on the inside of my house done by our roofing crew. They patched it up on their dime, as they should. I still had to repaint the whole ceiling to hide the drywall patches though.
It took 7 visits (and 2+ months) after the roof was laid to get the final details done. They offered to keep coming back but my house looks a lot worse in some areas because of workers' carelessness, so I said no thanks.
Cleanup was so-so at best, we still find the occasional nail on our property.
I used these reviews to choose Gerry's roofing. My experience definitely did not live up to the rating they have.
