I had a great experience at Forgali. I had checked out numerous furniture stores but Forgali gave me the best feeling about the quality and variety of products offered. I initially was looking for a few pieces but ended up furnishing my entire condo with Forgali. The products are high quality at a reasonable cost. Everything is made in Canada, which was very important to me. The staff was great to work with, especially the owner Sam. He takes the extra effort to ensure that his customers are satisfied and pays close attention to detail. I was able to work out some deals for customized furniture as well. If you have any problems, Sam will work it out with you. The deliveries were on time and the installers were very careful setting everything up. I was thrilled once everything was complete and really would like to thank Sam and his staff for their efforts. I highly recommend Forgali to anyone looking for quality furniture at reasonable prices.

We purchased a dining room set which had a small defect with regard to the staining on the top of the server. We found Forgali, especially Sam, to be very responsive in having the server returned to the manufacturer to be refinished and returned to us in a timely manner. There was absolutely no hesitation from Forgali in having the problem resolved to our satisfaction. We will definitely be back for future purchases!

We pride ourselves on Canadian Made custom furniture, although sometimes imperfections are not in our control, we will do anything it takes to make it right and make sure our customers are satisfied.

I ordered a couch from forgali, they were extremely helpful on helping us with the design to choose, colour pattern, they spent along time with us. The couch was delivered a week late but they made it up to us and had it delivered for free. very happy. they are not the manufacturer so it was not in their control. The manufacturer forgot to add 2 pillows I called Cathy at forgali and the owner called me back and he ordered the 2 pillows right away for
me. all in all my experience with them was very good. they did not
hesitate to help me. I would shop again.
I called in saying my cushions were loosing their umph! They told me I had to deal with the company who made the couch..I had to send pictures and email back and forth play games ..they would not help me with dealing with the company. A rep should have come out and looked at my cushions and dealt with the problem beacause that is why I paid for warranty, I wanted my cushions redone as well (which the sales lady told me is included with the purchase of the couch)When I asked for them to be done she denied saying it. I had to go to an Upholstery shop(which I reviewed) and pay another 500$ for that . I cannot stand when companies do not stand behind their product or customers.

To get quality sometimes takes a little more time, But always worth the wait.
We are beyond disappointed in the utter lack of customer service from Forgali / A Room of My Own. We ordered a bedroom set for our three year old daughter back in November 2013. Despite being promised a 6-8 week delivery time it took nearly 11 weeks to arrive (February 2014). We had told Forgali / A Room of My Own that we needed the furniture to replace baby furniture that was being passed down to our coming baby but this evidently had zero bearing on their desire to deliver furniture anywhere near the promised delivery date. When we expressed our disappointment, Kathy was dismissive saying that it was only a few weeks late. Informing her that my daughter may need to sleep on a mattress on the floor didn’t seem to light a fire under her to speed up the shipment. When the furniture was finally to be delivered, Forgali / A Room of My Own called on a Thursday to tell us that the furniture would be delivered the next day and that they’d call us in the morning to let us know a specific time. My wife rescheduled her entire day on short notice in order to take delivery of the furniture. On the delivery date, the morning came and went without a call from Forgali / A Room of My Own. My wife called them at noon and they unapologetically said that it would be delivered between 4-8pm but that they’d call back later with a firmer time (they never did). When we called them back at 6pm, they revised the delivery time to “probably before 9pm”. Eventually they arrived, after being 3-5 weeks late and wasting 13 hours of my wife’s time waiting at home all day with two young children and waking up my children with their 9pm delivery. Oh yes, and we paid $150 for this brutal delivery service. I called Forgali / A Room of My Own to complain about this delivery service (or lack thereof) and was told that it wasn’t their responsibility and wasn’t within their control as they outsourced the delivery to a third-party service. Needless to say, this made me even more livid as we paid Forgali / A Room of My Own and not their third-party service. We asked to be credited for the $150 delivery given the debacle noted above. Kathy said that this wasn’t something that she could authorize without speaking to their head office. She told me that head office would call me about it on the following Monday. After following up with Kathy three times over two weeks she finally gave me her head office’s response: a resounding “no” to being credited the $150 delivery charge for all of our frustrations. Upon pressing her about the decision Kathy said that it wasn’t unusual for them to delivery children’s furniture at 9pm, it wasn’t unreasonable for my wife to wait around 13 hours for a delivery and that any issues we had with it were beyond the control of Forgali / A Room of My Own. It goes without saying that we will never buy from Forgali / A Room of My Own again and will tell anyone who listens about our ordeals in dealing with this brutal company. I strongly suggest that you go elsewhere for furniture.
This is the worst service I have ever received from any business. They told me my daughter's bed would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. Two MONTHS later I still only have half of it. Every time I called to ask for information they either told me it was my fault or did not call me back. They were rude and tried to say that they told me it was 4-6 weeks. Totally offensive (I had booked a week off based on their delivery promise to redo my daughter's room as a birthday surprise for her. NOT a happy birthday!) They did not even deliver the first half until 6 weeks after ordering and they delivered it at 9 p.m. They left a 170 lb dresser in my front hall. They actually asked me if I ordered the bed in two different finishes, trying to blame me for the fact that they ordered it incorrectly. They refused to give me free delivery until I threatened to write this review. They are rude on the phone (when they actually call you) and try to get out of their commitments. Two months and $2,000 later, I am still facing a 5 year old who is wondering when her bed is going to come. They won't even give me a clear answer. No compensation. NEVER shop here. EVER

I shopped around for a while and Forgali was the only furniture store I found that give u quality for a reasonable price. I bought a dining room set and a couch from Forgali and was very satisfied with the quality and customer service they have. I would definitely shop there again and recommend Forgali to all the readers.

We had the unfortunate experience of purchasing two couches from Forgali the experience was dissapointing. We ended up with one new couch and one used/floor model couch that was obviously worn and stained too the point where they do not even match. Two pillows for the used couch were not shipped and the ottoman was also a used floor model. The couches were on sale but we paid for NEW furniture.
Despite multiple visits and phone calls on our part offers by the owner to replace the damaged and worn items turned out to be false.
A fine tactic on his part. He stalled until we could no longer file a dispute with the credit card company. A very dishonest individual to stand in front of you and promise that 'we will fix the problem' and say 'everyone is family'.
Readers I suggest you avoid Forgali Furniture at all costs.
This store has contemporary and some traditional furniture. The prices are very reasonable and competitive. The service, delivery and set-up was very accomodating. I would definately purchase other items at Forgali's again.
