worst experience ever with this builder. we paid money and signed a document to get a ceiling of 9 feet instead of 8 feet for all of the difference it makes in the house. Because of their unorganized paperwork, the main office didn't send the paperwork to the site manager who assumed the ceiling is 8 feet. We were very disappointed and it ruined all of my future plans for big chandeliers or high cabinets in the kitchen. When we talked to the builder about this major mistake and how to compensate us to absorb our disappointment, he didn't even care to negotiate and all that he offered is to give us our money back which will do nothing to us and will not fix anything. My advice to you is to stay away from this builder

I was shocked that this builder signed clear amendments to my Agreement of Purchase and Sale providing me with 2 Bonus Packages and then tried to back out of their offer, threatened me with charges when I tried to resolve the issue before putting more money down, and has now told me that they are re-selling my unit to someone else and are keeping my original $20k deposit. Sounds like they really want and need to keep my hard-earned money !!!!

Delay by 1.5 years and Over 100+ visible deficiencies found. Looks like a crew was brought in last minute and setup the place. Gaps everywhere on the trims, paint stains. Cracks on the corner. The bulk heads are crooked! Where is fernbrook homes quality and pride ?

Great salesman, bad workmanship and as a result sloppy work and many problems for them to fix in a brand new home. Buy from another builder and save yourself from a bad experience.

Absolutely the worst builder to deal with. Poor workmanship. Half of the wiring was not properly grounded, The return air ducting was all wrong!!! The list goes on and on and on!!!

Do yourself a favor and steer away from Fernbrook Homes!!

I have just recently sold my fernbrook home and moved into a new home in the same area unfortunately not a fenbrook home! I think before anyone complains about the quality of workmanship and material used in new homes they need to understand all of these builders use the same trades men its all about how willing they are to fix issues. fernbrook has never argued with me about doing ANY of the work I brought forward it may have taken some time to get it done but it was always completed. The service team working in Georgetown was fantastic and professional I can not say the same for my new home around the corner. I should have never sold my Fernbrook home but I guess the resale value spoke for its self. keep up the good work fernbrook!

I strongly advise NOT to buy a Fermbrook home. All looks nice from the outside, but on closer inspection, you find, countless deficiencies, shabby workmanship and endless corners cut by the builder to save money. There is no point in paying for any upgrades what so ever. Sure the higher more expensive baseboards would look nicer but the install job is so bad, it makes paying for the materials a waste of money. Same for the kitchen cabinets, flooring and what ever else. Better to do everything after yourself with your own people. The kitchen remained unfinished 1.5 years after we moved in. This despite paying 30K in upgrades. The customer service is a joke. It does not take long before you will realize that they are not really there for you the customer, but there for the builder and running interference between you and the builder. You will be dealing with them years out to get things done and your blood will boil. After buying many homes in the area and renovating all, this brand new home purchasing experience was the most stressful and painful i have ever encountered. And i have never seen an organization, so disorganized in my life. Aside from their money collecting department. They will surely get their cash from pronto, but drag their butt in fixing things they left behind undone.

Fernbrook's costumer service is a joke, I've had a leaky roof since I moved in, no action taken by Fernbrook, I paid for an assessment from a professional and still not action, poor quality materials as well as installations. At this point I am very disappointed with the Fernbrook quality and costumer service

This is the first experience to buy a home from the builder, but it seemed that we have chosen the wrong builder. The sales were very good in addition to the designer who helped with the exterior and interior designs. When we came to the point of the materials, here we can say that they are very poor. We were shocked that the house were reversed without informing us and that really reduced from the value of the house , and when we spoke about it, the reply was that we have to read the contract well as it is mentioned. Also there was no sense for the reverse, as the Back of the house is facing a park and instead of opening the windows to the Park, they were opened facing the neighbor. When we asked for amendment, we were also asked for extra payment without giving any respect to customer service. The most important that they didn't follow the upgrades we have paid for. I hope that our voice is well heard to everyone and not to fall to the same mistake we had

We have purchased a new home at Royal Oakville Club almost 2 years ago. Fernbrook Homes is one of the best builders we have dealt with and has one of the best customer service! Extraordinary service, starting from sales people who are always so friendly and happy to see you, to individuals at the decor centre, and the builder himself! Excelent customer service! They always treated us with respect, looked for solutions with us, helped us out with customizing floor plans and helped us go through this experience without much stress! Our house looks beautiful and was built really well. I am surprised reading some of the negative reviews, I can't believe these people are talking about the same builder, as in the last 1 1/2 years of dealing with them, I have nothing but the most positive things to say about them. Also to mention, they have excellent standard interior finishes selection.
I would recommend Fernbrook Homes to all my friends! Great team of people, friendly and cooperative, who trully look after their purchasers! Thank you Fernbrook for making our home purchase and everything that came afterwards (florr plan, electrical, interior finishes selection, etc) a trully enjoyable experience!!
