I hate moving at the best of times. I was really dreading it this time around because I now have two small children.

But as soon as Greg from Ferguson Richmond came by our old house I immediately started to feel better. His calm, friendly, professional manner really put me at ease. As did his guaranteed price. I went with a bargain basement company last time... and the final price was more than double of what the initial estimate was. That was a terrible shock. But Ferguson tells you a precise price before you even book your move. A price that will not (and did not!) change.

And you certainly get a lot for your money. The crew showed up on time and were all polite and professional. They had our old place cleared out in no time. All furniture was wrapped, and they used runners to protect the flooring.

The unloading was just as fast and efficient. These guys really know how to work together. They arranged my furniture for me and made sure that the boxes were all placed in the correct rooms -- even asking me for clarification if they weren't sure. Nothing was damaged... the newly painted walls remained perfect.

The best part? The put all of our beds together. I have never had that kind of service before. And it was wonderful! We all were able to get a good night's sleep after the move.

I would not hesitate in recommending Ferguson, Greg and his crew to anyone who is moving. What a difference with this move versus past moves! In fact, I have a small office move to do this week and I am thrilled Greg is available to make that happen quickly and efficiently for me.

A++. Very impressed. I won't dread our next move at all. There is a reason this company has been around for almost 100 years.
