Fabrics for sewing

A lot of fabrics to chose from. The prices can be a little high - make sure to go during the "off season" for different types of fabrics (ie. get fleece in the summer when it's not in high demand). The staff can sometimes be a little hard to track down because there aren't that many around and they need to help you cut the fabrics. Some parts of the store are a little messy.

fabric for cushions

went there looking for fabric for my cushions for the apartment.
there was a really good selection there, fabric of all colours and patterns.
service was not very good, they were clearly short staffed, but you just have to grab someone's attention so they can help you with the fabric.
i had looked around a couple of places and they had the most selection!

linens

you cant go wrong with this place, they've got more than you can chew on. Although it is cheaper if you get membership, they do have their annual sales. if you're a first time fabric shopper, this is definitely the first place to go just to see what you like, kind of like doing your research first.

definitely a must go if you're looking for a new project with fabric

Bridesmaids dresses

I tailor made 5 Bridesmaids dresses for my wedding and was able to pick out the pattern from Fabicland, they have a huge selection on patterns. I also found the specific lime green fabric I want...however, I found the staff there not too helpful and there are always line-up at the cashier. The place is quite messy but you can find some good deals if you dig deep. If you have a low budget, I will recommend this store but don't expect superb customer services.

cloth to re-upholster the couch

I wanted to refresh the look of an outdated couch and decided to visit this location for some fabric. I was happy to find a thicker, durable cotton cloth and it was on sale, which was the added bonus. The store has a decent selection and I ended up buying additional cloth and ribbon to make two extra pillows. The staff were friendly and it was fun seeing all the different prints. They also have great prints for kids projects.
