Encore Windows & Doors

After several issues with the windows in our 8yr old home, we made the decission to replace our builder grade windows...which were not energystar rated...did not have Low E or Argon. We recievied a few quotations, and were pleased with the professionalism demonstrated by Anthony. Although, this was not the "cheapest" quote we felt comfortable with our decission. After only 5 weeks our windows were installed, and boy what a difference quality makes. From our initial consultation, to the payment at the end...EVERY contact made with encore was a wonderful one. Our windows look great, staff were pleasant and efficent, and most of all, EVERYTHING we were promised was done, and done beyond our expecatations.
We will definetley use Encore again, and reccommend them to anyone looking for new windows or doors!

Last fall, we finally decided that it was time to redo all the windows in our house along with the front door entrance. We knew this was a huge investment so we wanted to make sure that we had the right company do the work. Encore was definitely the right company! Mike listened to all the issues we had regarding our existing windows and front door entry and was able to provide us with options. We have a huge two storey window in the back of our house that we were unhappy with. Mike was able to modify the design so that it would meet our needs. Now we can look out that window and really appreciate the view of our backyard. Mike's patience and knowledge was really hi-lighted when it was time to choose a front door and transom. We had an idea of what we wanted but we were unable to find a picture of anything like it. Mike worked alongside us to design the door and the transom. He never pressured us to settle but wanted to make sure that it was exactly what we wanted. He understood our need to make sure that the front entrance made the impression we wanted it to make as well as satisfying our need for privacy. After several weeks of design editing, we were finally satisfied and that was nothing to how satisfied we were when it finally got installed. What a difference! We love it, our family and friends love it, and our neighbours can't stop commenting. Mike's high level of knowledge and professionalism was maintained throughout the whole process. Once we finalized our decisions, the windows and doors were delivered and installed on time. I don't think we can say enough about George and Shawn. They always showed up on time, were very professional and organized and their workmanship was flawless. Before going home for the night, they always made sure to clean up and showed respect for our home, both inside and out. They went beyond our expectations. In the end, we are truly satisfied with the sales, service and product that we received from Encore. I would definitely use them again in the future and refer them to our friends and family. Please pass on my thanks to Anthony and the installer - I was very pleased with the completion of the project, accuracy of the order, and the efforts made to keep the mess to a minimum during the install. The custom stained glass transom window looks great. Our century-old house certainly provided the installer with plenty of challenges, but he did an excellent job.

We had to have some of our older windows replaced. The turn-around was fantastic and the quality was great. Very knowledgeable team and so helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend encore to anyone I know.

The doors are beautiful, the whole house feels warmer and tighter and while I didn't get an opportunity to meet George and Shawn as I was "wearing" the dog downstairs, I heard Kerry kibitzing with them and knew from her tone how very much she liked both men.

I just can't tell you enough how pleased we are with both doors, the really elegant door hardware and just how much light they let in to our dark entry and side landing. And real grillwork on the door windows, not that fake inside the glass crap!

And I too agree with Kerry that we are most pleased that Heather recommended you so very highly as we will do to anyone we meet who is looking to upgrade. You were a great teacher guiding us through the world of doors! Very scary!!!

They did an excellent job with installation and did their best to accommodate a tight timeline. During the process, they communicated with us regularly. We would use them again and have recommended them to our friends.
