Worst vacuum cleaner ever

I purchased Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 through Dyson website in December 2017. I did not use it in the first 30 days. Then, I tried using it on floors and carpets with brush roll on and off. The base suction was very weak. All it kept on doing was pushing the dirt around. When cleaning carpets, the brush roll stopped spinning after 5-10 seconds. I had to press the brush roll start button repeatedly to keep the brush working. After using it for 4-5 times, I contacted Dyson Customer Service via email to report the issues. I was told that the product could not be returned after 30 days of use. Their response time was slow. Each and every time I had to deal with a brand new person who asked me the same questions over and over again. I asked to have one representative to be assigned to my case, but next time around I dealt with 3-4 new representatives. I followed all troubleshooting guidelines recommended by Dyson representatives. After communicating with multiple and inconsistent Dyson Customer Service representatives via email, the issues were still not resolved. I sent the product to the nearest Dyson repair centre, as directed by Dyson Customer Service representative. It took around 7 days for them to send it back to me. I took it out of the box and tried using it. The issues were still not resolved. I called Dyson Customer Service to find out about the repair work completed at the repair centre. Dyson Customer Service representative failed to provide full information on the work completed. I asked to speak with a supervisor to file a complaint, but was told that the supervisor was in the meeting. I asked for the supervisor to contact me immediately. Dyson Customer Service representative stated that a supervisor will call me in 24-48 hours. It has been more than 48 hours now. I have not heard back from the supervisor. My Hoover vacuum, which I purchased 11 years ago, outperformed Dyson Ball Multi Floor 2 vacuum big time. I never had to worry about my Hoover vacuum not cleaning as advertised nor did I have to contact their Customer Service for anything. I am frustrated and disappointed in Dyson product. I trusted the Dyson brand and spent $500 on a faulty vacuum that cannot clean as advertised. Shame on you, Dyson.Buyers, do not fall in the same trap. Dyson seems to invest a lot in its misleading advertising and not in its products and support.

worst customer service ever

I am a loyal customer of Dyson. First of all, i would like to say I am a very satified customer with dyson products. I've purchased three dyson vacuums over the past 5 years. My mind was totally changed after today's conversation with your dyson customer service department.
I placed a dyson supersonic hair dryer product order over the phone on November 27,2017. The person who helped place the order said i would receive the order within 7 to 10 days. It was my wife's birthday gift. 15 days after, on december 12, 2017, i called in after i realized i still haven't got the order. The first person answered my phone directed me to the US department, then i was redirected back to the Canadian department .The third person i spoke to was anita. After i explained what happened to my order, she apologized to me and put me on hold to find out what's wrong with my order. She came back after almost 30 minutes and told me my order was cancelled due to an inventory error. ARE YOU SERIOUS!? How could you cancel an order without notifying your customer? She quickly offered what you could do to me which made me feel even worse. First of all, the iron and pink one was not in stock. Only were there two other colors i could choose from. Second, the original one was a limited edition so it came with a case,the other ones didn't come with it. I asked her if she could do something about the price since it's not the color i wanted and there was no case. The answer was immediately "NO" and she said she didn't know why the person who did my original order gave me discount. Come on, you should ask your coworker this question not me. Such a poor customer service. Why should i pay almost $500 for a product with wrong color and without a case for it. It is ridiculous!!!!!!
Two days after the call, I finally received an email saying my order was cancelled. what a job!

Dyson V6 cordless vacuum

Had this vacuum for two years. The power head stopped working after 8 months. Dyson would not replace it so we ordered a new power head. This one lasted a few months and we have now gone through three. Not spending any more money and am very disappointed that Dyson has not stood behind their product. 500 dollars plus the hundreds for replacement parts in two years is not worth it. I tell everyone I see in the store who is looking at the Dyson to stay away. Don't waste your money.

Needed a new vacuum for my small condo.

Bought this vacuum 2 years ago from home outfitters. I have a love hate with this vacuum. The Dyson DC 72 stick is a very powerful yet light vacuum. It's great on stairs and carperts . My only complaint with it is emptying the canister. I do it outside because it can lift some dust if not careful. On one occasion I had to call the company directly (Dyson) and got great customer service. Good product.

Amazing

I have had the best experience with Dyson and their customer service. Within 30 minutes, they were able to find a solution to my issue and ship me the parts that were needed. I will support them for my entire life.

Simply horrible

I ordered the warm/cool purifier online and during the purchase process there was no indication how it would ship. Because it is going to a residence, I need Canada Post. The private couriers are fine for business to business, but horrible for residences. Therefore, I would only accept Canada Post.

I had to contact Dyson AFTER the purchase to find out that it uses Purolator (the worst), so I cancelled the order. Getting in touch with Dyson was not easy via phone, although it did respond to emails promptly.

I digress to explain Purolator. It leaves notices at one's door instead of deliveries (I am retired, at home). I reviewed the security video at my condo ... saw the truck pull up, the driver get out with a notice, put it on the condo front door, and leave. The notice said "available for pickup at our distribution center" .... which is 30 kms away.

Anyways, Dyson cancelled then sent me an email saying it would refund me my purchase price in 30 days! Huh? Dyson will use my funds for 30 days. Disgusting and disgraceful.

Dyson is horrible to deal with.

Cannister Vacuum Return process

Purchased the Big Ball canister in April. My order was processed efficiently and received quickly. After a few uses I decided to return the vacuum as I found there is a design flaw which causes dirt, dog hair, etc to get stuck at the connection point where the hose connects with the wand. I called customer support and they suggested I wipe down the hose and vacuum with a dryer sheet that this should solve the problem. I was skeptical but agreed to try this. This helped remove the static on the vacuum but did not solve the problem of hair, dirt, etc getting caught in the hose. Called support again and there was no problem to return it and I promptly received a paid return label for Purolator. The company does state that it could take 30 days to process the return which is a ridiculous amount of time given today's technology. It has now been in excess of 30 days and still no refund on my credit card. After two phone calls I am told that it will take a further 3-5 business days. Completely unacceptable.

Products

I have both a Dyson Fan and Vacuum. Both seem to be great products so far after a little over a year. Overpriced in my opinion, but in the end really good products. the fan both cools and heats our kitchen area quite well. The vacuum charge doesn't last more than about 20 minutes, we didn't buy the higher end one, it is still good for what we need. we don't use it for the entire house by any means. It is primarily for the kitchen and hallways and furniture. Having a large dog that sheds like crazy this has been a very handy tool to keep the hairballs under control. I do feel Dyson could lower their prices, that would be my only complaint.

Dyson hot+cool fan

I purchased this item on the advertised spiel about it being able to cool hot rooms and warm cold ones. It does neither!! I have used this fan for the last year and I am very disappointed with it's performance. I will never purchase another Dyson product.

Dyson 023 Vacuum

A few years ago I purchased a Dyson 023 Vacuum. Its the best, and most powerful vacuum I have ever owned. I love it, and would highly recommend this product!!
