An upgraded 30 year shingle was added to our brand new home and just after two years a wind storm of 100 km/hr destroyed our roof. The shingles were an extra expense and we were told they would with stand higher winds than what we experienced, and if there was damage the roof would be repaired. Not the case.
After just over 2 years now and we need a new roof. Calls were made to Dykstra Brothers Roofing with negative results. They called the incident an act of God. Funny that they stated the product could with stand these winds, but now it is an act of God. We must pay for a new roof.
Keep looking for a roofing company that will stand behind their work. This company will not.
