I looked around for a reputable company that could extend my existing concrete deck an additional 200 feet to provide a proper outdoor living space for our family

Delta Decks was extremely professional throughout the entire process . We went back and forth a number of times during the design phase until the deck was exactly as we wanted it . The installation started ahead of schedule and their Master Carpenter Vlad took care throughout the project as if it were his own home

Elgi the sales contact was always available to listen to my comments and feedback . We are very happy with the final product and look forward to enjoying our project for years to come . It took us eight years to decide to do the extension but we are now very happy we did .

We are very happy with our new deck completed by Delta decks. From the first consultation with Elgi, our project manager we were very impressed with the professionalism and advice we received for the initial design of the deck. We then went to their spectacular showroom where we were able to pick from the several different options of colors and materials. The deck was completed with high attention to detail, and excellent workmanship. The two carpenters, Alex and Alex completed the job on time and on budget with no issues whatsoever. Several design changes were suggested along the way, and constant contact by Elgi ensured the final project was better than what we could have ever imagined. Their price was also very reasonable, after consulting with several deck builders we're so glad we went with Delta decks and highly recommend them!

We hired Delta Decks to replace our old deck with a new 12’ x 18.5’ deck. The deck was constructed using Trex Composite low-maintenance boards, aluminum railings, and helical piles for the supports. Delta Decks also removed and disposed of our old deck as well as our old patio furniture, and handled the entire permit process. This included producing all required drawings (stamped by Professional Engineers), handling all City of Toronto paper work and fees, coordinating all inspections, and providing all required engineering reports. They also agreed to fully take care of any required Tree Protection Zones (TPZ) if the city required it at no extra cost. Fortunately this was not required.

This year we hired four different contractors to work on different projects. All were highly rated, and two had the “Best Of” status on Homestars multiple years in a row. While they were all good, Delta Decks was a step above all of them in terms of work ethic and the quality of the final product. Alex came at the time I requested to review the job and provide a quote, and Elgi was the Project Manager. Both were prompt with their responses and answered all of my questions. Their crew was also extremely hard working. On the first day, a crew of three people worked from 7 AM to 5:20 PM and completed the entire deck frame. They only stopped for 15 minutes when they ate lunch. The next day they worked from 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM straight only stopping when the city inspector came to inspect the frame. I was genuinely surprised at how hard and how quickly they worked once the project started.

The only negative was that the process took a long time because of delays by the city to review and approve the permit. We hired Delta Decks in early April, but the permit was not approved until late July to allow construction to begin. Construction was completed in August, but the permit was not closed by the city until October. This process likely would have been faster if we had gone with concrete footings instead of the helical piles which are reviewed under a different section of the building code (Part 4). Despite the fact that the deck was completed in August, Delta Decks never pressured us for final payment until the permit was officially closed by the city in October. Alex also stood by his commitment that there would be no additional costs beyond his quote even though the city required more reports and stamped drawings than anticipated during the permit process. This included requiring Professional Engineers to stamp the drawings instead of a BCIN stamp.

In terms of the final product, we are very happy with the deck that was built and many of our friends and neighbours have complimented us on our new deck. We would not hesitate to recommend Delta Decks to anybody who asked.

Delta Decks did a fantastic job replacing our old, rotting deck with a beautiful new PVC Azek deck at a competitive price. The workmanship was excellent & very professional. They took the time to do the job right and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Elgi (Project Manager) was very accomodating, easy going, paid attention to all of the details and provided solid advice throughout the project. I didn't feel any sales pressure whatsoever, which I really appreciated. There was good communication throughout & the job progressed as promised. The crew cleaned up very nicely at the end of the job. Highly recommend.

We had an old rotting deck replaced with a beautiful new ipe deck. I can't say enough good things about Delta Decks. Excellent customer service, excellent work, and reasonable price.

We tried to work with a couple other deck builders and ran into issues when it came to permits, permit drawings and reliability. Alex at Delta decks was recommended by a neighbour of ours and once we had him come in for a consultation on the project we knew that Delta Decks was the right company to work with. Alex suggested all new materials and a complete rework of the original design. His team handled all permit drawings, as well as the whole permit process, including inspectors and sign off. Elgi our project manager was a true artist and professional. After a year of searching for the right company we are so happy we found Delta Decks. We LOVE our deck It's better than we could have expected and the cost was on par or better than the competition. Highly recommended!

Burlington. Needed my front and rear decks replaced. Nicky Crone of Delta Decks West was my sole contact and builder. She was very professional and responsive. She clearly knew her stuff and added some great ideas rather than pushing expensive alternatives like some other companies i engaged. Very responsive to both email and phone, delivered on dates and quality. Certainly took pride in providing solutions to a few issues discovered while demo'ing. Workmanship was top notch, happily fixed one item that was not ideal in the build. Slightly higher quote than others but you can buy with confidence. Very happy.

We are absolutely in love with the Brazilian Garapa Hardwood used for our new deck. Alex was very helpful in design and selection of materials and his carpenters are artists. Great competitive price and wonderfully open to last minute changes in design without going over budget. If you like working with wonderful talented people this is the company to go to. We love the deck and balcony and the front porch. All the neighbours are commenting on how great it looks.
