My backyard was pretty much bare after a fence/deck reno, except for my flagstone that hadn't been laid quite right (DIY). Ian convinced me to re-use the flagstone to save money, and came up with a plan that would provide all season colour, and was pet friendly. Grass won't grow because of the trees so we included an area of artificial grass for my dog (which she loves and which looks great). Ian is a good communicater, and responded quickly to my inquiries and in providing drawings and a quote. Work started when he said it would, was completed on schedule, and at the agreed upon price. His crew took good care of my property and cleaned up after themselves every night. I love my new backyard and can't wait for spring to see what it looks like in bloom. Unfortunately I don't have pictures to share as the work was done late fall 2008.
I have renovated extensively, both inside and outside and this is by far the best experience I have had. I was in the middle of a large, complicated kitchen/main floor renovation when I decided to do my backyard. My friends thought I was crazy to add another complication to my life, but I'm so glad I did. Curbz has renewed my belief that there are still good people out there who care, and will do a good job at a fair price. I would recommend them without hesitation, and plan to have them back to do my front yard this spring.
