I was very happy with Tropical Insulation. They did a great job. The installers were very professional and did not leave any mess. I have recommended Tropical to many people and have heard excellent feedback from everyone. I recommend Tropical Insulation highly.

So we bought a new old home, the insulation was rated R20, we got on home star and asked the top 5 companies to Quote, Tropical was very competitive. The Gentleman who quoted us, was polite, he explained about his company, provided advice on the two projects, recommeded not doing the 2nd project as he didnt this it was a value add, he explained all the issues in the main attic, he followed up with us. When selected, they were able to schedule to meet our timing needs and the installation team was also friendly and polite. they were careful with our home and ensure that they cleaned up after themselves and brought the home R rating to R50.

We are doing a big renovation at the house, and someone mentioned Tropical Insulation. I emailed the company, got a response within two hours, they came out right away and did the job, almost immediately, and over and above what had to be done. The installer( Gino) was the nicest guy ever, what a pleasure compared to some of the other grumpy old men on the job site. I didnt even bother getting another quote...they were so reasonable and prompt. I wish I had more to do so they could come back. they didnt make a messs, they were careful where they stepped so they didn't ruin plants...I couldn't be happier

Tropical Insulation blew insulation into our attic in February 2012. We got 3 quotes, and even though Tropical slightly more expensive, we felt that they understood our needs better. They were very thorough, ensuring that they also covered the light fixture holes, put in an outside roof vent, and improved air loss around the fireplace. They were very tidy and cleaned up completely before leaving. We now notice a big decrease in the heat loss on our upper story.

We needed the insulation on the newly upgraded washrooms as well as top-up of the existing insulation to R50. Howard came over to check our requirement and gave us an estimate. Howard was very professional, punctual, and gave his honest opinion on the work required. The work was perfomed within a week by Gino and Frank. Gino asked me to go up the attic and check the insulation. It appeared to be done very well and evenly spread out throughout the entire attic. Thanks Gino and Frank for doing a great job, Gino was very professional and took care of everything before and after the job. The entire work area was cleaned up nicely with no mess afterwards. Walter, thanks for coordinating the job from start to finish. We look forward to enjoy the nicely insulated home!

Quick, tidy and efficient job topping up blown cellulose and evening it out in the attic of our new (2 yr old) home. When I asked whether the hatch to the attic had been weather-stripped, they said no, and went back and did it. I can't ask for more.

The ratings on Homestars led me to Tropical Insulation - and they were the first to quote on the top-up job in our new home. The work was carried out with minimum disruption and the installers were quick and tidy.
This, our first home in Canada, is now good to go for the winter and coming summer.

Tropical did the insulation after vermiculite was removed. They did an excellent job: sprayed foam over the duct work and across the attic and crevices; blew in insulation. Walter Modotto did a great job ensuring his team prepared the work area (removing all sorts of wood and other items left in the attic by previous owners) and did the blowing of foam and insulation properly. Alot of attention was paid to detail so that I was confident that the proper work was done. Would recommend Tropical for any insulation work!

Tropical Insulation installed cellulose insulation in our home in the Port Credit area of Mississauga in the Greater Toronto Area. The sales person we dealt with was very friendly and never pushed anything on us that we did not need - something very hard to find these days. The installers were very friendly and respectful and ensured they moved carefully while in our home. The work itself was excellent - I went up in the attic and inspected the job with a friend who works in the trades and we were both very pleased with how good the coverage is, particularly in the hard to reach areas. I would not hesitate to refer this company to my family and friends. Thanks guys - it is refreshing to have such a pleasant experience with contractors!
