Hired this company people to fix my basement and they were fair, courteous and professional. Great solution for ny wet basement. Nice installers and excellent workmanship. Would hire them again. Highly recommended.

We had a very minor moisture problem but enough that caused mold and mildew. Roy was fantastic, I think I called him on his mobile about 40 times! Each time, he was polite and truthful. I really appreciated that. The guys that worked on the basement were also wonderful and got the job done fast. Definitely would recommend them to friends/family.

after spending $19000 of my hard earned dollars last year on outside waterproofing with a very reputable company (you know who you are pick up the phone)
then i spent $9000 on new interlocking and landscaping
"IT STILL LEAKS"
i called Clarke and Roy was very good at telling me about the company how
the products are specifically made for inside the home waterproofing
i wish i heard of this before i spent my money doing it the old fashioned way we only addressed the areas where the water was flowing in at the front he did a moisture test on the back wall but told me as the system can be added to very easily later and i have not got much money left we can do more later
the two other companies i had quotes from wanted to do the whole house

Clarke basement systems installed a sump pump system in our water riddled basement Jan 23, 2009. From the initial contact with Fiona, to the salesperson Roy, and the installers Cavin and Noel, the service we received was outstanding. When the water problem proved to be more serious than we initially thought, Cavin worked late on a job the night before in order to come to our house before we left on vacation. Now we can go away without worrying about out basement flooding. During the installation, Cavin and Noel made sure we understood how the system worked. They left the site pristine. We received a follow up call the following monday from Roy making sure we were pleased with our service. In addition, Clarke Basement Systems told us about the Government's basement flooding protection subsidy,which will pay up to $ 1750.00 for the intallation of a sump pump system.
We went with the triple safe pump, due to our severe water problems, and in 3 days, our basement in bone dry. The peace of mind is worth every penny. I wouldn't consider another company for basement waterproofing.

Two years ago I went through a nightmare with hiring a company to perform a mould abatement who actually made matters worse. I was able to hire another company to make things right, but was then so exhausted, and ill from the toxic effects of mould, that I put off researching companies to install weeping tile. Finally a friend who's a real estate broker, who keeps a file of good companies for his clients, recommended Clarke Basement Systems. I feel so grateful for his lead. Roy W, their representative, showed up with a smile and with unlimited patience for my questions. He was never condescending or patronizing, explaining in detail the unique features of CBS's system. I liked that he himself keeps his hand in on the practical end by working on sites. (With some companies I've found there's a real disconnect between the reps and the workers.) They did the work on the date that had been set at the time of the contract, within the time frame that had been described, and for the price that had been given. There was a small glitch that was dealt with efficiently and courteously. I appreciated that after the job was complete, (and they had my final payment) I was given a follow-up call to ask how things had gone, and if I was satisfied on all counts. Very unusual in this day and age of uncaring greed. The "energy" of this company stands out among the many I've had to engage with over the years.

We had a pretty bad water problem in the basement, these guys came in and installed the waterguard system in less than a day. They explained the system and made very little mess, what mess there was they cleaned up. When we still had a water issue the day after they left, not related to the work they just finished they were back at my house within hours. The service was exeptional and I would recommend this company to everyone. My Basement is dry. Thank you.

We had a very serious water problem. Rob, Cavan and Noel worked hard, quickly and efficiently to install the basement system and a curtain drain outside, as well as a new floor in half of the basement. They were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous and finished the job one day earlier than anticipated. They explained everything to me, made much less mess than I expected and cleaned up very well before they left. If the system works as well as the men did, I won't have any more water worries. I was very, very impressed.

It was a three week wait but was time well spent. Roy came out and identified that it was a plumbing leak. Cost ? $0.00. Honesty and qualified knowledge ? " PRICELESS." UK's lost is our gain !! Recommendation ? YES !!

While I was happy with the overall experience and workmanship and professionalism, I wanted to tell the owner that I thought they were "expensive" for what they ended up doing. The owner then talked to me about all of the things that go into the training and quality and technology that sets them apart and explained the overhead structure that went into the costs of a project.
