My furnace had quit notice when I got home at 4 o'clock phone them and explained what was wrong with the furnace after having me check a few things he new what was wrong and pick up the parts and came over and fix it in no time flat.

We've had work done by this company for a few years now - air conditioner and furnace - and they are always very prompt, professional, polite...and funny! They are always very thorough in the work they do. We don't feel taken advantage of or that they over-sell. We have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family.

On New Year's Day, I discovered a lot of smelly water all over my basement floor, which I eventually traced to the overflow pipe near my furnace. Unsure if this was a furnace or plumbing problem, I called City first thing on Jan 2, and someone told me it was, in fact, a furnace-related problem. My furnace was still working, and I still had heat, but Silvio came over that morning, and saw right away that the overflow valve was worn out and needed replacing. He needed to get the part, and planned to return in a few hours to make the repairs. I needed the work done before 5pm to fit in with my schedule. However, due to the extreme freezing weather, Silvio had a few emergency calls in-between (people had no heat), so wouldn't be able to get back in time. He arranged to call me at 8am the next day - but my own schedule again interfered with his attempt to do the work in the morning. He kept in touch by phone, and ultimately arrived in the early evening. It didn't take him long. The valve is fixed, my furnace continues to work well (City has done the annual maintenance for years), and no more water is overflowing onto my floor. Yay!

My furnace stopped working last winter and I called City to take a look at it. Because the furnace was quite old Sunny suggested a new higher efficiency model. They installed the furnace in 4 hours and I can't be more pleased with their work. Good job guys.

My furnace broke down in a very cold night, with the fan running but no heat. I called City A/C that night and a technician, Salvio, came within a couple of hours after he called. I was actually dug in for the night, with a portable heater, extra comforters and all, not expecting service to come until the following day. So I was surprised when Salvio came to check my furnace that very same night. There was a part that could only be sourced the next day, one that could have cost me several hundred dollars, if it were not for Salvio who suggested that I look for the furnace sales receipt and see if it was still under warranty. I searched, and yes, it still was!. Other technicians may have simply ordered the part to get things done, could not care less about warranty, and the Owner faced with a huge invoice to pay.

Price is what you pay; value is what you get. Never confuse the two.

Part way through a job. Regular cleaning on a 15 year-old raypac boiler which was working fine. But while being cleaned the bracket for the burners broke. I can believe it was rotting out all on its own, but still a little frustrating to go from a working furnace to one that is now burning poorly, and that needs the burners (or at least the bracket for them) replaced asap. Hoping for a happy ending (i.e. that a part is available tomorrow, and that its not too expensive) but will have to wait until the morning to know. I have been very happy with Sunny and his colleagues through the years, the quality of their work, and their timely response (they installed this unit 15 years ago). Hope this tale ends well too.
