Furnace Service and Hot Water Tank service and replacement
Several years ago, Cambie came through with furnace service work and restored heat for an elderly gentleman on two occasions on short notice. I chose Cambie because of their reputation and long service history. The first service job came easy (igniter replacement) and the second (circuit board) was more challenging but again they came through.
More recently, with the hot water tank, Cambie went the extra mile with two service calls to extend the life of an old hot water tank. When the tank finally gave up its ghost, Cambie did a replacement and more.
They detected and sealed a carbon monoxide leak that was caused by incredible shoddy installation of the original tank.
The service didn't stop there.
Cambie waived all billing for the two previous service calls.
You don't see that anymore. That's goes back to a different kind of old school customer service of what I thought was a by gone era.
All that hot water tank work, at that bargain rate, and in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. These are the people you want on the front line when you need work done promptly, professionally, and a great price.
There's a reason why this company has been in business for nearly 75 years!
