Brick, The

I've purchased a new TV and waited forever for delivery. Finally got it and it was defective. Was told to contact the manufacturer. Had to fight with them to do an exchange when I contacted them same day as delivery. The replacement was even more broken and then they refused to do anything more to solve the problem.

This is the worst place to buy anything. they mess up just about every order they get and nothing gets delivered on time and if it does it the wrong item and they will damage your property in the process. It's been 2 months since i paid for furniture that i never received and still haven't refunded my money. they expect the customers to wait and travel to the store multiple times for mistakes their stupid staff have made.

I purchased a washer and dryer from the Brick and opted for the pick up option. I went back to the Brick on the day that I was moving into my new town house because I had the moving truck emptied and ready to load the appliances into it. When I got there to pick it up they told me that they had to give it to someone else who was also waiting for theirs. I explained that I could not come back for it another day as I wouldn't have the moving truck and they told me there was nothing they could do. After a lot of arguing I finally convinced them to deliver it to me the next day for FREE. I also called their head office and let them know what had happened. They threw in a set of pedestals for FREE as well for the mix up. I am glad that they were able to straighten things out, and I have to say that in the end of it all I would probably shop there again, maybe for something a bit smaller this time.

We bought two leather couches from The Brick and instead of delivering on stated date, it took about 4 months of arguing with them on phone and then having to go in person and argue with them about getting our 2 couches in time for christmas...we ordered them in summer! they even wanted to give us a different colour! they were not apologetic and we swore we would never ever go there again. I would not suggest anyone going there and having spoken to other people at work, I hear many similar stories...they always have ways of trying to get your business (free tv's etc.)...don't believe it! what is the point getting something free if you wait six months for what you bought!? (and after a lot of angst and arguing?)

They had great selection and were very helpfull.
A little bit pricy, but the have good design.
great stuff. Any kind kind of style, any kind of brand. They also have appliances and electronic stuff.

We purchased a brand new house and needed everything. Our builder informed us that we could get a contractor's price if we went through The Brick. We contacted Pin there and I worked with her over the phone. I had exactly 2 weeks from purchase to move in date and she got everything I needed and delivered several days before. Amazing speed! Once we hooked up the water to the fridge though, we had a major leak inside, with water shooting out the fridge! Turned off the water, called Pin and she gave us the option of a repair man or a new fridge to be sent out the next day. We took the new fridge. Delivery guys were great, no damage to the floors or walls. Very friendly.Great overall service.
