As a builder I have always researched and compared prices. I save over 20-40% at other big name places.

We purchased a leather recliner/rocker chair and corner hutch to match our kitchen table (made by the same manufacturer). Delivery wait wasn't too bad. It was the after service that is awful. Upon arrival of our hutch we noticed a couple of discrepancies..no shelves included and different kind of glass on door that we were lead to believe. A couple of small spots on the leather recliner the leather is peeling off. They were going to send a technician. The first time he went to our old address(we had changed our address in their database) the second time he was suppose to phone in the afternoon to arrange a visit. That was about a month or so ago and still have yet to hear from the technician or the home show on this matter.
In regards to the hutch after 8 weeks and 7 phone calls our shelves had arrived and we could go pick them up. There is still a shelf missing from the bottom part of the hutch. Recently I heard they were closing their doors....we purchased 5 year warranties on both of these products but I don't have that warm fuzzy feeling that these warranties will be honoured if needed.

Very friendly management and staff. Sometimes not to quick to notify customer of delivery problems.

We shouldn't call them again because they didn't put it together for us.

I purchased a 37&quot LCD - HD TV on boxing day, from the Homeshow. I stood in line from 3:30am until the doors opened at 7am. The manager came out about 6am with a bull horn and entertained the long line-up with excellent giveaways and ridiculous prizes. He made sure I got my TV that I wanted since there was only 13 in the store. He saw me in the store and made double sure that I got my TV. Great service.

I'd definitely return, the price was competitive and if a better price is found they will do a price match.

The Home Show stores are quite large. They allocate space to specific manufacturers. Like Lazy Boy, Sklar, etc. The quality of the merchandise is not The Arte Shoppe. But it is quite good. As are the prices. The person who served me was well intentioned and tried hard. She did not tell me, however, that the bedroom suite I purchased needed some assembly. And that The Home Show assembles nothing. That was up to me. Nor would the delivery men help me move my old bedroom suite to another bedroom. "Not our job". I had to contact a company that specializes in assembling furniture. Took 2 weeks.
