I placed an order for a two-drawer console table because they currently only had one display on the floor. And I paid the full money of the console table for the order. I can tell it's the dream console table I have been looking for a long time. I got a confirmation by phone the next week that my console table arrived at store. I went to pick up the table at the weekend (in the snow storm weather) and was told my car is too small for the table. So my husband and my friend drove a van to the store in another weekend to pick up the table. They spend half an hour waiting in the wind and finally were told the order I placed is for the one displayed on the floor which was damage and there is no table was available even in the warehouse. They provided two option that we either buy the displaying one or get refund. I felt like I was CHEATED. First I definitively did not order the one displaying on the floor; secondly I have paid for the table and got the confirmation that the table was available; third I had went to the store to pick up twice. This is the worst shopping experience I ever have. I am not sure whether the other BOMBAY stores treat the customers in the same way. But one thing for sure is the Mississauga store is ruining the reputation of BOMBAY and totally ignores the customers’ satisfaction.
