Beam Vacuum Plus Service Centre

My Sears central vac started turning itself on and off by itself. I had the folks from Beam Vacuum Plus Service Centre come out and check it. They ended up taking the power unit away fro a few days to see if they could diagnose the problem. They could not but suggested it was a short in the household wiring. Since the basement was finished and finding the short would have meant tearing into the walls, they came up with a wireless solution that allows me to turn on the vacuum with a simple dongle and a wireless unit in the garage. It works great and prevented me from replacing the unit or trying to find the short.
