I have the "older" system and water kept on getting between the liner and the tub. I had a technician come out to fix it 3 times over the course of 3 years. This time the store manager came out the same day that I called in to assess the issue and he will be replacing the old tub with a newer system free of charge.

I am very disappointed with my Bath Fitter experience! Large amounts of water gets between the tub and liner and a service technician needs to come out every 6 months (at a convenient time for them of course) to temporarily fix the problem charging me $50+ tax because apparently there is no guarantee on the system that they installed in my bathroom. I also found that the technician for the last service was rude and he didn't take off his boots or cover them up. I plan to throw out this useless system and get a proper install.
