I had the pleasure of being introduced to B & R Electric by the owner himself.... Barry Sternberg. He met with me 10 years ago on a cool day outside my office. He never once complained about the cold, and was sincerely focused totally on the project I needed done.
Barry discussed the lighting project I wanted to do, informed me of two other less expensive ways to go, and then spent the time to walk me through how it would look and the life span of the equipment he recommended.
That day, I saved $11,000.00... that I was more then prepared to spend! Over the next 10 years, well, you can imagine. Those lights are still in place and the most maintenance they have required is the bulbs changed.
I require an electrician that can think on his/her own and not have to worry about the jobs I need done. My customers and their families depend on B & R to keep them safe and they have NEVER once let me down.
Typically, when we are able to plan work out in advance, B & R has always made sure to be on time, and ready to work.
In emergency situations, they can't be beat!!
The response time is head-spinning.
We gave them a call last week for NO HEAT. That was the call, no further details given to B & R other then the address of the call.
Within 1 hour of the call being made, we were signing the work-order for the electrician that fixed the problem.
Not every job is the same, but every response from Barry and his brilliant electricians is the same.
They are professional, meticulous, and REFUSE to cut corners.
B & R really do treat their customers as though we are their family.
Should you have work for B & R, don't be surprised if the electrician they send shows up with coffee for you and depending on the mood, a joke or two.
Make no mistake though, when they begin working, that's their only topic until they complete the job.
You'll not ever need to second-guess the quality of work these people do, because they do it with pride, and they do it right.
Coldest, hottest, rainiest days of the year... I've been there to see them shrug it off and get the job done.
Would I recommend this company to my Mom? You bet I would!!
I'm certain my Mom would be making them all dinner before they'd be allowed to leave her house.

- You don't have to hire B & R to do your jobs... but you should call them before letting anyone else touch your electrical. I'd not trust any other company. Period!
