Avenue Road Roofing

ARR did a great job in repairing my roof during the winter. Guys came as scheduled, worked hard to get the work done and cleaned up after themselves. I was satisfied with their work and woudl hire them again.

We decided to call Avenue Roofing because we have seen so many of their trucks in the neighbourhood ... they are very visible. We spoke to a gentleman on the phone who accessed the situation of damage to our roof and he offered to send a roofer to our home that very afternoon. Rob, the roofer, went up on the roof to investigate and gave us his assessment. Rob did the job of repairing our roof to our complete satisfaction. Rob was exceptional at his job and it was a pleasure to do business with Avenue Roofing. We will no doubt call them should we need a roofer again.

We were very pleased with our recent service from the Roofer at Avenue Roofing. We had the roofer come out the same day as our phone call and the work was completed by the end of the week. Our main problem was that we had raccoons in our chimney. Avenue Roofing provided a secure cap for our chimney and did some minor repairs to our roof and eavestroth to see us through until the Spring time when we will hire Avenue Roofing to replace our entire roof. Very professional and pleasant roofer.

I had an okay experience with Avenue Road. When I first called, my information was taken, and I was told that someone from the minor repairs division would return my call within 2 days. 5 days later, someone called and I had to give all of the details again (they did not get transferred with the message), and he would come out to assess the hole. The next day, he calls me at work and said that he went to look at the hole, and because it was not a "minor" repair, I was being transferred to the "major repair" department. Once I was passed through to the major repair department, the hole (2 ft x 2ft) was fixed before I got home. I've had no problems with the part of the roof that they repaired. My only complaint is that the left didn't know what the right was doing, so customer service was not great and that was a bit aggravating. I just wanted the hole fixed and didn't want to be transferred around to multiple departments. I've also been told that they are a lot more expensive that most other roofing companies.

I was satisfied with the work and clean-up but I really wanted to send a note about some work you did for me about three years ago. I had a leak in a second-floor ceiling and part of the roofwork overhead, underneath a deck, was still under your material warranty.

One of your supervisors, KT, came out to try and find the leak, without success — flat and sloping roofs were involved. Some days later, he returned with two other people to see if they could track it. Just as they were about to give up, they discovered the water was coming in from underneath a dormer door and suggested that I get it removed, since there were two other doors leading to the deck. When workmen removed the door, they found carpenter ants under the sill. The wood was sodden and filled with tunnels. That was the source of the leak.

In all, Mr. T spent something like five hours on the task. I am most appreciative of the care he took, and his persistence — especially since it brought no business in. I have to say honestly that I find your prices to be very high and I always wonder about getting the job more cheaply. But your response to my concerns over a job you've done (twice in 10 years or more) is such that that is always the deciding factor when I sign the roofing contract. As long as you continue to provide such exceptional service, I'll stay with Avenue Road.

They are expensive. Do not keep you informed of the work they are doing. They misled us. One of the biggest mistakes we ever made. Whenever we have work done on the house now, people always comment on the how the roof dips and collects water. After all the money we spent, we thought we would have a roof that would last a long time.

As always, the company and its representative provided an accurate estimate, performed the job on time and on budget and tidied the property when he finished. Avenue Road Roofing met the same high standards more than ten years ago, when I last hired the company to install a new roof on my house. A well managed business. Highly recommended.

We had our roof and skylight replaced. We were sold 25 year guaranteed tiles for our roof and they lasted 7 years before they all started to lift. When we called them we were given the run around and it still has not been settled yet and it has been going on 4 months. Our skylight had a crack in it so at the same time the roof was being replaced l got the skylight replaced. The skylight never leaked until they replaced it and when l called them. They tried to say because it was the bathroom it might be the mositure. The skylight was always in the bathroom and no it was not moisture it was because it was not put in correctly. The original skylight never left water damage like the replaced one did. Just a fair warning if you are thinking about using them do not.

We are very pleased with your company, and we will recommend you to everyone we know. we have just had our roof completed, and your work was fantastic! We are more than satisfied, we always keeping us informed and up to date. It has been a sincere pleasure to deal with your company, your service is to be commended!
