We recently purchsed and had installed California Shutters in our home. We were extremely pleased with the knowledege , honesty
and helpfulness of the people we delt with at Alternative Creations.
The product arrived as promised and was intalled when promissed.
The two installers were excellent, efficent and knew what they were doing.

Matt and his team did an excellent job with the installation of our "Eclipse" California Style Shutters. He did all the windows plus a closet door. Our windows were a custom size making them very difficult to measure, but the finished product looks flawless. They left our place in a very tidy condition.

We had Matt out from Alternative Creations. He was a pleasure to deal with. He assisted with all of our color choices and design options and everything turned out simply amazing. We will use alternative for all of our future homes and will never hesitate to refer them.

From the time Matt came out for a consultation to the time we recieved our shutters was only two weeks. He was very helpful and took the time to explain different products to decide what was best for our home. The office staff is very polite and easy to reach (never a missed call). The installation was FLAWLESS, Ive had shutters installed in other homes that I have owned and never was the job completed to this level of quality. Shopped around to all of the various dealers in town and Alternative Creations had very competitive pricing matched with the best service. I have recommended them to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so. They are still located in Downtown Whitby. (make sure you request Matt, he is the owner and will give you the best deal... Tell him I sent you.)

The sales staff was friendly. Installation was great, as was the quality of the product. I'm not sure where this company has gone to though. I don't think I haggled enough on the price, though they spent the time to show us alot of options.
