Had red oak sanded and refinished in natural tone. Outstanding quality of workmanship. Floors look even more beautiful than we expected. Excellent company to deal with. Would highly recommend them to others.

I obtained quotes from a number of companies to assist us with a flooring install, baseboard install and crown install. Ron, the owner of Acorn, was by far the most knowledgeable and committed of the people we met. Acorn is a family run business that takes a lot of pride in their work. They do a great job and were just as concerned about the detail work as we were. They were adaptable to us doing tasks to cut down on cost, like painting moldings and doing some of the demolition work. Their custom stair rail and door rails were stained by hand and the quality of their workmanship was top notch. They were very easy to get ahold of and were very responsive to our questions. They listened to what we wanted and performed the work to a high standard. There was some minor sweeping when they left, which they warned us about, but overall, left our place clean and tidy. The crown and baseboards were nailed at close intervals, so you don't see any buckling from the walls that often occurs. The flooring is level and is of high quality. Don't hesitate to use this contractor. They are trustworthy, reliable and had accurate quotes and time estimates.

Ron and team did a great job on new cork flooring in our condo. Communication and scheduling with Acorn was great. We had a limited time window to complete reno's before moving in, and the Acorn team was wonderful to work around our schedule.

Ron and his team did an excellent job on our floors. The work was challenging because the walls had many neo angles and the floor was uneven. Because of the transitions we were unable to add a subfloor. We were very happy with his work and he stayed long hours on his last day in order to complete the job.

I had a mix of old red oak hardwood and newer laminate on the main floor of a house I moved into recently. Acorn solved my problem by ripping up the laminate, installing hardwood to match and sanding and staining everything. The process took a week and a half and I can't be more pleased how it turned out. Gorgeous!

Ron & Val at Acorn are amazing. This is the third time we have worked with them. Our first job was to have our wood floors refinished. They did an incredible job and even removed the baseboards and put them back on. Our second job was to have a stairs and upstairs of our home stripped of it's carpet and hardwood put in. They did an amazing job. Ron and his team have an incredible work ethic and really pay attention to details. They were also able to match our our design floors and the existing hardwood on the main floor. For our third job, we had vinyl tile installed in a condominium in Whistler. They recommended and installed a high quality sound barrier and vinyl flooring that looks like real work. Again, they did a great job. The floors look incredible. We highly recommend working with them. Ron and his team know what they are doing. Ron is passionate about his work and it shows.

We had problems with the HOA in our concrete high rise in regards to what type of flooring we could use. We took a chance and went with LVP Luxury Vinyl Plank and were fortunate enough to find Ron at Acorn to do the job. His pricing is very fair, and his workmanship is superb. He has a Physics background so he understands all of the bonding materials and how well they adhere, and the end result is that LVP would be our flooring of choice in the future. Our home looks wonderful.

I had been very discouraged at not being able to match my original flooring from 15 years previous when I was introduced to Acorn by a friend. I felt, after meeting the owner, that I was in good hands and would be satisfied with the outcome. Ron is extremely knowledgable about wood flooring and he assured me that he would be able to match my product very closely. The bedroom and den were recenly completed and i am thrilled.
